Excellent - Highly Recommended

Tons of food. Visits to small, local restaurants with typical and interesting Portuguese food and wine. G (our tour guide) was very informative, easy going, and was a local himself. This was the best food tour we've ever done and we've probably done 7 or 8 in various locales in the past.

The Best Guide Ever!

Aldo is truly one of a kind ax a guide. He is a gem and there was not a dull moment with him at the helm. I booked fhe tour mainly to try the food, but with Aldo it's a hard toss up to see which of the two was better hahaha For tourists coming to Naples for the first time, i highly recommend going with Aldo!

Definitely Worth It!

Paolo was truly helpful and informative. Our tour was not rushed and she went above and beyond to show us around. I do suggest not to eat lunch and maybe just have a light one of necessary because this food tour will really fill you up!

Great Food Tour with Martina, and eating Europe Florence!!

A Fabulous Food Tour with Martina!! This truly is one of the best food tours we've ever done. Martina was so engaging and informative! The food along the way was so much fun and interesting. We had a complete meal over the evening. We had appetizers. We did the wine window, wine cellar, and traditional Tuscan food! It was very good. we would highly recommend a because good tour with Martina with Eating Europe, Florence.

A taste of Italian foods and wines in historic Florence.

Fun tour to visit several Florence restaurants and taste Italian food and wine. We stopped at five restaurants and had cheese samples, bread with several types of olive oil, gnudi pasta dumplings (for the first time ever as it is unusual in the US), a yummy tomato paste dish with similar ingredients as minestrone soup and a wild boar and bread dish, all served with different types of wine and finished with a classic Florence cocktail called Negroni. Our guide, Valeria, was very enthusiastic and explained the history of each dish and wine. My wife and I enjoyed this tour and would do it again.

Elisa is an amazing guide - so funny and smart! We enjoyed the wines and food so much. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Definitely recommend for a fun experience!!!

Great tour, terrible customer support (warning to those with allergies)

I need to split this review into 2 parts: the tour itself (amazing!) 5/5 and dealing with customer support before the tour (terrible) 1/5 The good: had the dinner tour in Florence with Antonella and she was amazing! Lots of info about Florence and life in Italy. The food was amazing and it was overall an absolutely lovely evening. The bad: We had booked this tour in March (tour was in early October) and I noted my shellfish allergy on the initial registration despite nothing on the tour menu mentioning it (just being cautious you know). Eating Europe customer support reached out 3 days before our tour asking about the severity of my allergy (note we did another tour with Eating Europe during this time and had zero issues regarding my allergy). We confirmed the details and that I am fine with cross contamination (I eat in restaurants all the time and travel extensively). However, customer support determined that my allergy was too severe and since they couldn’t guarantee no cross-contamination I wouldn’t be permitted to participate. My options were to 1) go on a food tour but not eat (WTF?) or 2) get a full refund. Keep in mind this was now only 2 days before a tour that we had booked 6 months in advance. It wasn’t until we pushed back that 1) they had 6 months to communicate this and chose to wait until 3 days before and 2) I had participated in another of their tours with no issue. After days of back an forth, they finally permitted me to participate in the tour. When we got to the tour, the guide confirmed my allergy and since she has one of her own, was very accommodating to the point of confirming with each location before we got there. The best part of EE trying to refuse me the tour due to cross-contamination - none of the locations even served shellfish so there was literally no possibility of cross-contamination. Eating Europe needs to do better when it comes to allergies and not have customer support staff presume they understand a customer’s medical needs better than an adult who has been travelling the world with a food allergy for over 20 years without a single reaction.

Great city walk but so- so food

Our tour guide Demitri was fantastic! Knowledgeable and kind. Lovely drinks and cheeses. The hot food however was not the best. The Gnuddi pasta and boar stew were cold. A bit disappointing.

Amanda was absolutely amazing. There was so much food on this tour. It was absolutely wonderful! She took us to a lot of local places we would have never found on our own. So many local spots.
