The Perfect Start to Our Porto Trip, thanks to Leo!

We had an incredible time on our port wine and food tour with Leo! She was so much fun – genuine, engaging, and wonderfully honest in answering all of our questions. We did this tour on our very first morning in Porto, and it ended up setting the tone for the rest of our trip. The history and context we learned made everything we experienced afterward even richer. The food and drink stops were thoughtfully chosen – delicious local dishes in charming spots that showed off a quieter, more authentic side of the city. We had such a great time and would highly recommend this tour (especially with Leo!) to anyone visiting Porto.

Fun and informative East End tour

Wow Max! Thanks for a wonderful food tour of the old East End. Delightful commentary and history of the neighborhood punctuated by 6 amazing food stops. We still can’t decide which food was our favorite; they were all so delicious. Come hungry, you WILL leave full. The cultural and political significance of this area was eye-opening. We will be talking about this tour for weeks, and will recommend it (and Max) to all we know who will be visiting London.

This was a great combination tour, tuk-tuk and food. The tuk-Tulsa made navigating the hills a breeze and the food stops were wonderful. Camilla was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. We had a wonderful time with her.

First time doing a food tour and would recommend and defo do one again. Caterina our tour guide was brilliant both knowledgeable and friendly. She shared enough information about history without it being too much. We got to mix with all the various people and the food and drink was all delicious. I was worried there wouldn't be enough but there was. Feel like the tour was just the right length and defo took us off the tourist track to try food and restaurants we wouldnt have otherwise.

We had a most memorable gastronomic sagra! Our host (Martino) led us through the vibrant Oltrarno district to experience authentic florentine cheese shops, wine cellars, trattoria, wine windows, gelato shop, negroni bars … and so much more! Discovered new culinary delights whilst meeting new fellow travellers, and mingling with locals on the streets surrounding Santa Spirito. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
