The Best of Lisbon…Don’t Miss Out!!
This is a definitely don’t miss tour!!! Actually is the 2nd time for me to do this tour with David. First time was with a friend and this time with my husband. David is an excellent and knowledgeable guide giving Lisbon history as well as taking us to some fantastic eateries!

Great tour in a great city
Fun and informational! Not a difficult walk at all around Lisbon, and great stops at local places. Amanda was particularly great and accommodating!

Lisbon food and wine tour
Amanda, our guide was very knowledgeable and explained the origins of the various foods we ate at the five restaurants. We sat down as a group (12) and had time to chat with everyone which made the experience a bit social . Two of the restaurants were disappointing so maybe it would be good to change to others. One was a long walk up steep stairs which although typical for Lisbon was difficult for some of us. The wine at all of them, however, was great.

Below average food tour
Having been on multiple foods tour this one was average to below average. They charge a premium compared to other food tour so I’d also expect similar standards with the foods, variety and portions. At best we had about 2 glasses of wine and 1 beer and 6-7 food items ( remember these are tasting portions of which one is some are just a sliver of cheese and bites of sausage/chrizo). You are eating about 3-4 dishes small portions. If you have spent two days in the Lisbon you pretty much have tried all the food you get on the tour expect for the samosa that is an Indian dish. They don’t ask if you liked something and if you like a second helping. My table kept wondering if we could get more of the octopus but they just brought in the next dish. Some of the restaurants had questionable hygiene standards for restrooms as well. For money i spent I could have had a nice sit down dinner at a good Portuguese restaurant.

Lovely Walking Food Tour
Very personable guide Isaac with great stories and food recommendations. Delicious egg custard tart with traditional favorites like fish and chips. Perfect amount of time for a food tour. Good balance of walking and sitting.

Not to be missed !
Melissa our guide was just so good. We were a mixed group of Americans,Canadians, English and Scottish . Melissa got us all talking a bit about ourselves, breaking the ice and setting us up perfectly for making new friends as we meandered from venue to venue. We were all surprised and delighted by the generous portions and at the end of the tour felt we had all been on something very special and were sad to leave. The information about the various foods and wines on offer was delivered at exactly the right level, broadening our minds and our palates. Can’t recommend highly enough and this experience will certainly make us look for similar experiences with this company in other places.
