Such a good way to get a feel for a place

Great tour Amanda. Genuinely wondered what it would be like as I usually resist tours but I’m sold! Huge knowledge-lots of titbits, great food and wine. And a lovely way to meet people too!

Fabulous Beer and Food tour with a very entertaining guide Oliver!

We loved everything about our Beer and Food tour in Prague. We especially loved our guide Oliver who could not have been more engaging. Beer was good, the sites we saw were good and the food was good. We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Eating Europe.

Yum Jordan-Eating Europe

Our guide Elena was very friendly and took us to a wide variety of places to taste a particular food or drink. The Jordaan neighborhood was a lovely place for a relaxed walk as we visited local businesses for tasting selected specialties. We learned a little about traditional Dutch foods such as a progression of Gouda cheeses that pair with either coffee, wine or beer. We ate the best fresh herring I ever tasted and washed down a crispy bitterballen with a smooth glass of Jenever. Smooth Jenever? Believe it or not it was smooth. This review leaves out many wonderful tastes, but we would be remiss without mentioning the excellent apple pie to end the tour. A very nice way to spend the afternoon and get to know some special places in Amsterdam.

Great food with an awesome guide

We had an excellent tour with Fred! The food and drink menu was fantastic. We also appreciated all the Lisbon tidbits Fred shared along the way, as well as his sense of humor :)

Highly recommend food tour with Tom!

Tom did a fantastic job of mixing history with great food tastings. He was high energy and offered engaging content the entire evening. It was a great way to celebrate my son's 21st birthday with his friends.

Not worth the cost

Guide was very good, but food was rather mediocre. How can you do a local food tour of Lisbon without sampling the jinghia (misspelled, I’m sure.). I felt the tour was overpriced relative to what it offered, and the guide did not return us to the starting point as advertised, but left us up on a hill to find our way back ourselves.

Best possible introduction to Lisbon!

Perfect!!! To me ( totally unfamiliar with Lisbon), this was the perfect way to explore the city, learn some of its history and culture, and particularly its cuisine. Our guide, Fred, was outstanding - warm, witty, very knowledgeable and attuned to the personalities and needs of each member of our diverse group. I don’t typically recommend anything to anybody and I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone who I here is planning a stay in Lisbon.

Such an interesting tour that focused not just on the recent history of Berlin but the people who have shaped the food and culture. Clara is incredibly knowledgeable, fun and answers every question. Clearly knows her stuff and loves Berlin.

Bifana Sandwiches, Francesinha, Drinks and More

We had a wonderful experience with Eating Europe and our host Diogo. We were stuffed by the end with plenty of delicious dishes, drinks, and deserts. Diogo was amazing and shared his personal experiences growing up in Porto and memories of eating the food he introduced to us. The bifana sandwich was the highlight.

Great, fun food tour on the East End

Had a wonderful time on our East End food tour with Max. Great food and history lesson. The curry at Aladin was delicious! Very entertaining and engaging!

We had a fantastic group with folks from Finland, the US, and Australia. The food and wine were excellent and the guide was very informative and fun. We had a blast. Wear your comfortable shoes and your learning caps and prepare to be fed in mind and body. Fabio did a great job teaching us history and language as well as making sure we sampled the best food, wine and gelatios.
