A wonderful taste of Portugal

Highly recommend this tour. Our guide was Camila who took us to some amazing places where we really got a taste of Portugal. She was knowledgeable, engaging and great fun. We had a wonderful time.

Guide was great

Catherina was a superb guide and is the primary reason for this 4 star review. Her knowledge of and passion for Lisbon is commendable. She created a lovely group dynamic amongst a diverse group of 11. Well done. The tour is expensive vs others we have done e.g €327 here for 3 vs €250 for 3 in Bologna in April. I wouldn’t mind that if the quality was really good. Overall it wasn’t. The chorizo and pickles in the 1st was poor to say the least, I wouldn’t count the cherry liquor a course in the 2nd, experiencing the Madagascar restaurant was to be welcomed, really appreciated the substitute for the octopus salad in the 4th and the rice dish was ok, pateis de nata was lovely. In summary… go for the fun and hopefully get a great guide and group.

Serena and Eating Europe will make your Florence visit memorable.

Serena is an amazing guide full of anecdotes and humour that bring to life all things Tuscany. The picks for the food and the wine were wonderful- we visited spots we may have never found on our own. The added icing on the cake was a lovely set of travellers we met on the tour from all over the world. A real memorable activity which I would highly recommend to all!

Great Tour!

Lessandro was one of the best guides we've had! He is very knowledgable and spoke English very fluently with almost no accent. We enjoyed each stop immensely. We have gone back to D'vin Voccone to get more wine, and qe bought cheese at The King of Cheese

Outstanding experience. Our guide, Ricardo, was excellent. We visited 5 restaurants that as a tourist we never would have found. Each one better than the other. Highly recommend eating Europe!

Great way to taste Portuguese classics

I did the progressive dinner with a big group and it was so much fun! We learned about Porto and its history and visited three lovely little restaurants to try classic Portuguese foods. Our guide was super awesome and I’d definitely recommend this when you’re in Porto.

Sara was a great hostess entertaining us with lots of stories and facts. The places we visited along the way were fantastic and it was great to hear the history of each one and to taste their food and drink. Well worth the money. We would totally recommend this experience

Foodies walking tour.

We booked this trip before leaving England because of favourable reviews. It was fun, informative, entertaining and delicious. Joseph was full of information and advice during our tour. We tried a large selection of courses and accompanying drinks. The group was only seven inclusive of my husband and I so it was small enough to get to know all the other attendees which made it more personal. I have no reservation about recommending this tour and would certainly use them again in other city breaks.
