Great tour with Annette!

The Undiscovered Lisbon Food & Wine Tour by Eating Europe was the first thing we did when we arrived in Lisbon- make sure you come hungry as you get a lot of food and wine. Annette was our tour guide and was AMAZING! Very personable and informative. She is hands down one of the best tour guides we have ever had. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great experience with Fred

Overall, we enjoyed the tour and our wonderful guide, Fred. First, Fred was super friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, making us laugh nonstop. Next, the food. The tour consisted of four stops. Each stop, we tried two savory food items, with a sweet dessert in the final stop. Three stops included wine, while one included beer. Everything was delicious and filling. One observation I found a bit odd, in comparison to other past food tours, was that Fred was like a restaurant helper. In a couple of places, he was serving us the food and drinks, with him getting our food from the kitchen. He definitely earned his salary and some. Note: The location you meet your tour guide is not the same location you are returned. It would have been nice if this was noted on the website.

Yummy! And interesting. And yummy!

Pip was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and shared DELICIOUS food options with us as well as history about the Market and the neighborhood. Pace was leisurely, easy to navigate. Going on a Sunday meant Market was crazy crowded. Recommend: very near Tube so easy to walk there from station. You will be very full at end of tour but power through if you want to buy food for later. I did not and heartily regretted it.

Great London City Food Tour

This was my first time visiting London and this tour was one of my highlights of the trip. My tour guide, Pip, was a phenomenal guide. Very knowledgeable and took time to explain the history behind the food and the buildings we visited. The food we tried on the tour was also great! My favorite was the meat pie. This definitely a great tour for those who love history, good food, or are visiting the city for the first time.

Best tour I’ve been on.

This was easily the best food tour I’ve been on. Fred was an amazing guide. He lead us through the food and wine pairing, but also the history and culture of Lisbon. Each street we turned down had a new story that brought the city to life.

Remarkable experience

This tour takes you to restaurants and parts of the city that you may not find on your own. Carlos was so warm and passionate about his tour and the small group allowed us to connect with each other.

Higly recommend! Yummy and fun!

This experience was great! A perfect blend of walking, talking, eating, drinking and fun! Our guide Ricardo was very informative (and super fun!) about the histrory of the foods and the importance of the foods to the Portguese gastronomy and cultural scene. The spots we visited were unique and yummy. Places I would never would have found on my own. Some were very local and some world renowned. The wine and beer offerings were well matched and abundant. ; ) Everything was outstanding.
