Markéta was wonderful. She had so much knowledge and a great sense of humor. You could tell she genuinely loves doing this. The tour was also an incredible value with multiple stops and a full meal with desert at the end!

Amazing experience, Fistro!
From the very first “Hola!” with our incredible guide Carolyn, we knew we were in for a treat and Madrid did not disappoint. The city dazzled, the food was divine, and Eating Europe once again proved it knows how to deliver unforgettable experiences (and full bellies!). Between bites of heavenly jamón and sips of vermut, we wandered through gorgeous plazas and vibrant markets, with Carolyn weaving stories that brought history to life, and laughs too! At one point I half-expected Chiquito de la Calzada himself to pop out from around the corner yelling ¡Fistro de la pradera, pecadorrrl! because that's exactly the kind of joy this tour brought us. Jorl! If you're in Madrid and craving not just amazing food but also a deep and playful dive into the culture, this tour is a must. Bravo Carolyn and bravo Eating Europe, you’ve done it again. ¡Hasta la próxima, pecadores!

Great Tour, Organizer Needs to Limit Size of Groups that Can Participate
Very good collection of food/wine. Our guide was knowledgable and very kind. My only complaint: there was a large family on our tour (8-9 people) that dominated and distracted from what could have been the perfect tour. The organizer of this tour have made them select and pay for a private tour — it made for a less pleasant experience.

Izaak was great! We loved the diverse food choices as well as learning about the interesting history of the area. Highly recommend! (Come hungry as it is a lot of food)

Repeat offender…best food tour ever!!
This was a real highlight of our trip! My wife is a repeat, but this was my first trip! Really excellent. The Indian food was my favorite, but all six stops were just great. And the history that Izaak explained along the route really made it meaningful.

I was a solo traveler that was wanting to get a taste for the food and beverages offered in Lisbon and Kriszti did an amazing job as our tour guide. Not only did we eat fantastic food, but we also got to know each other and the history of Lisbon during the tour. This was my second Eating Europe tour and I will absolutely keep taking them!

Okay not more
The food tour included a stop at a gas station cafés with seating uncomfortably close to the restroom. Homeless people walking past us to take a #2. The food wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either bland and forgettable, more functional than enjoyable. The odd location and mediocre dishes made the stop the weakest part of the tour, though still not bad enough to ruin the overall experience.
