Carols was funny and knowledgeable about the food and culture of Lisbon! The food portions were delicious and huge! We really enjoyed getting to know Lisbon on this tour!

Gabi was awesome!
Gabi was the best! There were a ton of good bites we tried and he gave amazing recommendations for my family to go to. He also gave great historical notes that let us understand how this food connected to the Portuguese empire.

The absolute highlight of our Venice trip (Flavia is a AMAZING!!!!!)
Honestly, if you do only one thing in Venice, make it this tour. I was a little skep that a "food tour" might feel too structured or touristy, especially in a city that can get as crowded as Venice. I couldn’t have been more wrong. From the second we met our guide, Flavia, it felt less like a formal tour and more like we were just hanging out with a really knowledgeable local friend who wanted to show off her neighborhood. Flavia is just magic. She has this incredible warmth and energy that instantly made the whole group feel comfortable. You can tell she actually loves this city and its food culture—it’s not just a script for her. She took us down these quiet back alleys that we never would have found on our own, way away from the madness of St. Mark’s. And the food? Unbelievable. We aren't just talking about a slice of pizza; this was proper, authentic stuff. I finally understand what the cicchetti culture is all about! The wine pairings were perfect, and by the end of it, I was absolutely stuffed and so happy. It was such a relief to stop Googling "where to eat" and just trust Flavia to take us to the hidden spots. We laughed, we learned a ton, and we ate like kings. Do yourself a favor: skip lunch before you go, and cross your fingers that you get Flavia as your guide! She truly made our trip special.

Flavia is a Rock Star!
We learned SOOOO much about food, flavors, and even the history of Venice! Her selections were on point, and her recommendations are amazing. Had dinner at one of the restaurants we visited and YUM!!!!!! Hands down, the BEST tour guide we have EVER had on a food tour! TEN stars!!!

Really great tour with Izzy, great conversation, mix of food, local culture and history; her relaxed and easy conversation made it really enjoyable. When the other reviews said go hungry they weren't joking...lots of food, really delicious and non-touristy stops. Highly recommend!

Tasty and Entertaining
Carlos was a very entertaining and informative guide, and we loved the hidden gem restaurants he took us to. We came away with a deeper understanding of the multicultural fabric of Lisbon, experienced through delicacies. Our favorites were the chorizo and morcela sausage, and the amazing pastel de nata, but it was all delicious. We did a bit of walking but that is the point with a walking tour. We got to see a variety of neighborhoods and felt like we were working off some of the calories. I highly recommend this food tour if you enjoy experiencing local cuisine and want to learn more about Lisbon through great food.
