Betsy was such an icon! She knew so much about Paris and she is such an interesting person I encourage you to ask about her life and how she ended up in Paris and with her husband! It was the perfect amount of food! She was great at making everyone feel included no matter the age! All food was great! Oh and hi Gale!

Fantastic food tour with a truly local feel

This food tour with Melissa was one of the highlights of our time in Lisbon. It felt very personal and authentic, with a strong local vibe—not touristy at all. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen, and we loved getting to experience places we never would have found on our own. The food and drinks were excellent and plentiful. We enjoyed white wine, red wine, and sparkling wine along the way, and of course, the pastel de nata was unforgettable—easily one of the best we had in Lisbon. Everything was delicious and perfectly paced, so we never felt rushed or overly full. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Lisbon’s food and culture. The stories and local insights added so much depth and made the experience feel more like being shown around by a friend than being on a tour. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lisbon who wants to explore the city through food and wine while getting a genuine local perspective.

Gabi (Gabriel) was absolutely brilliant! Thank you for teaching us the history and taking us around the city. This tour was the highlight of our time in Lisbon. 100% recommended to everyone. You are taken to hidden gems that serve traditional dishes, that you probably would never go too. We actually revisted a couple of spots the day after! We had a great time. Walter was an amazing guide. My daughter and I were part of a 6 person tour. We started with wine and a pork appetizer and went on to many other places to have cheeses, meats, pork and pastas. All delicious and accompanied by wines and a spritz. We were all full by the time we got to gelato but managed to eat some of that also. Along the way we enjoyed learning about the region and the food from Walter. We had a really fun group with lots of conversations and laughter. A great way to start our trip!

Great food, excellent guide

Our “Porto Wine and Dine” tour with Diogo R was excellent! The locations were varied and gave a good view of the variety of different but each authentic Porto cuisines and locales. All the places we visited had excellent food and drink. However what really made it a special experience was Diogo guiding us. First of all, he made all the logistics a breeze. We could just relax and follow along. And he knew various bits of culture and history, but about places we stopped and ate and also places along the way. But most important he was incredibly friendly and fun!

Pip was wonderful and made the Great Notting Hill Bake Off tour such a fun experience for our whole family. The food was absolutely delicious, and every stop felt thoughtfully chosen. Petra was a great tour guide. Not only did we get to experience Czech cuisine, she gave us so much history of the city. If you don’t do any other tour in Prague, do this one.

The perfect way to start our trip

My family and I were beyond lucky to have Betsy lead us through Le Marais. From her choice of tour stops (Merveilleux is a must) to her genuine conviviality, she was a joy to learn from and get to know over the course of three hours. This tour was the perfect way to start our trip to Paris — if only we could keep Betsy as our guide for the rest of the week.

The Best Tour We’ve Taken

Betsy is an absolute gem - she adjusted our tour time because we had to rebook our flight and we had the best day with her. She’s kind and enthusiastic but also a person of many interests who folds all of her knowledge into an incredible day of food. We’ve done tours before in Paris but none this good - we were so sad to part ways! Couldn’t recommend it more highly - stellar!
