Great food tour!
Go hungry! Food was excellent and guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve done food tours in other cities and this was one of my favorites. Highly recommend!!

Our evening food tour with Nadia was a perfect way to taste the flavors of Florence with a local guide! Nadia was knowledgeable and gave us the ins and outs of eating in the area (including restaurant recommendations) and the tour finished with the most perfect gelato. A wonderful experience, highly recommend!

This was a terrific food tour! Nadia was so proud of her chosen city and it showed in her delivery. Everything we ate was amazing and they even accommodated non drinkers. Highly recommend.

Like dining with a local family member with insider info...
I typically avoid guided tours, but this was so fun!! Walking from place to place with our guide, Antonella, felt like spending an evening in Florence with a cousin or a good friend. It was very clear that she actually lives locally and knows everyone on the Oltrarno neighborhood, so it was like being an insider for one evening. The vibes and the lore drops were immaculate: we chatted, we learned, we had cultural exchange. We visited during the lowest of the low season in February, and the tiny group size made this experience feel extra special. (Even in the high season, group sizes stay limited to 11-13 people.) While we were at our last stop of the tour, we met a few travellers who had gone on the same tour with a different guide (Elli) the previous night. They had such a great experience on the tour, they returned to one of the same places armed with insider information to have the best aperitivo experience in Florence. We all met and chatted and swapped travel tips and talked about art and food and drinks. I would highly recommend this tour, especially early in your stay in the city. We received a wealth of knowledge over a leisurely three hour progressive dinner, and we can be more confident in choosing great restaurants and avoiding tourist traps, whether or not we visit the same excellent locations that Antonella introduced to us. More than worth the time and money, this tour is an absolute must-do for first-timers in Florence. The cocktails, wine, and food was some of the very best we've ever had anywhere, and the shop owners were often nearby to add to the storytelling and ambiance. Thank you, Antonella, for your fabulous company and depth of expertise!!

Elisa was the best! She’s also a sommelier. What a great surprise. It was a great tour to understand local Florentine lifestyle and connect with real local small business owners and try local products. Elisa is a joy! Do try this in Florence. You won’t disappoint.

A simply incredible tour!
Carolyn treated us to a wonderful tour of excellent local dishes, really showing us how to enjoy tapas as the locals do. We couldn’t praise the choice of venues highly enough, Carolyn has picked incredibly well! The evening was incredibly relaxed with Carolyn weaving in stories of the history of Madrid and the taverns as we went.

Fantastic experiense
Great experience. We had a small group and so a very relaxed atmosphere. I've been to Venice several timez befor and still I've discovered some new things to me. Meat balls and risotto were outstanding. Thanks a lot to our tour guides Gioiele and Denis, they were amazing.

Eat, laugh, enjoy!
Such a fun experience! Delicious food, bits of architecture and French culture, very cool guide with high IQ & EQ. Sweets were lovely, but the savory & cheese is where this tour really shines.

Great food tour in Lisbon
We had a wonderful experience with Ricardo on this small group tour (only 6 people including us). Ricardo was really knowledgeable about history and food, entertaining and fun to be around. We samples all kinds of interesting food and wine, took a detour to a viewpoint over Lisbon, and ended with the best tasting pastel de nata we have ever had. I must say, I'd be skeptical to stop by the restaurants we visited on a tour if we just stumbled on them by ourselves. They all were truly local gems. Highly recommend Ricardo and the tour!

Fantastic introduction to the local Florentine cuisine
Elisa has a very engaging personality & a fun sense of humor. I appreciated that she was greeted with genuine warmth wherever we visited. Because she’s a sommelier, Elisa provided insight into the wines I haven’t experienced on other foodie tours. We visited very small establishments which added greatly to the charm, intimacy, & “localness” of the tour. The food was all very good as was the wine (and the pours were generous!). I would highly recommend the tour—especially if Elisa’s leading it.
