Ask for Paul for the foodie tour!
We planned this walking foodie tour for a couple of reasons: 1) to stay awake instead of just going to the hotel and sleeping too early, and 2) to see the beautiful city and learn something. Paul was fantastic from start to finish. He knows everything and has a great sense of humor, to boot. Even though the majority of the tour was walking (or eating, actually!), the first part was a boat tour of the canals. As a group of family and friends, we had a lot of fun. It was the perfect way to start our travels together. Many thanks to Paul, who helped make it so fun.

Fabulous afternoon- Fred was wonderful- his knowledge of food and drink certainly to be admired. Every stop was terrific. He’s understanding of the history and cultural environment were impressive aswell. Could not think of a nicer way to spend an afternoon in Lisbon.

Great experience!
We both enjoyed our foodie trek experience and we had a good bunch of people from all over the world. Our guide Carlos was fantastic full of knowledge on Portugal history, local area history and the food. Plenty of tips and storytelling as well. Would recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic Food, Great Pace, and Even Better Company!
Really enjoyed our walking tour with Carlos. A great choice of local restaurants with fantastic food. Not too much walking and at a good, gentle pace which we needed after running the half marathon the day before! Carlos was very knowledgeable and our whole group were a lot of fun.

Our third amazing food tour with Eating Europe. Betsy was an amazing guide, kept the whole group engaged and entertained. Walked through the history of the area, the various regions of France and their very unique foods and traditions. The tour featured a wide array of foods and pastries and gives a broad taste of French food, wines, and cheeses. Highly recommend this tour, Betsy as your guide, and eating europe for any city they provide tours in.
