Amazing Food Tour with Fred — A Must in Lisbon!
We had such an incredible time with Fred as our tour guide in Lisbon—hands down one of the best parts of our trip. Fred was not only super knowledgeable, but also genuinely funny, easygoing, and just great to be around. He kept the whole group laughing the entire time while still sharing really interesting insights about the city. It never felt like a scripted tour—it felt like being shown around by a friend who knows all the best spots. One of the things we appreciated most was how he took us away from the typical touristy places and into spots we definitely wouldn’t have found on our own. Every stop felt authentic and thoughtfully chosen. The food was amazing from start to finish—chorizo, samosas, cod and octopus salad, and a great spread with ham, goat cheese, and fresh salads. And ending with a pastel de nata was the perfect touch. What really made the experience special was the balance of great food, great conversation, and Fred’s personality. You can tell he truly loves Lisbon and enjoys sharing it with others. Highly recommend this tour—especially with Fred. Come hungry and ready to have a great time.

Unhurried and charming experience
This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Great balance of food and wine, walking, education, and free time for general conversation. Each of the food and wine stops were historic and full of character. Our guide Serena was wonderful - so knowledgeable and friendly and kind. She exuded genuine enthusiasm for her city and its cultural heritage and happily answered the many extra questions from our group. At each stop we had plenty of time for both commentary about the food/wine/location and relevant history or culture as well as time to sit and relax and chat. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

really enjoyed learning about the architecture of prague and tasting the traditional foods. I am not a beer person but it was nice to try something new. enjoyed the foods as a foodie 😍 our tour guide was lovely (sorry forgotten name i think it was petra?)

Wonderful walk with superb food
A fantastic tour by Eating Europe Food Tours, led by Jesita. It was great tasting various local foods but hearing about the historical backgrounds made it even more fascinating. I'm a cook and a foodie and have been to Paris numerous times but I still learnt a lot and was very impressed by Jesita's knowledge and enthusiasm. The tastings can vary according to the season but we had fabulous pain aux chocolate, fresh shrimp & oyster, Alain Ducass chocolate, cheese, a wonderful terrine with pistachios, wine and a superb sausage with aligot. Walking times approx 2.5 to 3 hours and you need to factor in that Montmatre streets can be quite steep and some crowds are to be expected but Jesita always made sure we were ok. The cost may sound high but we had good value for the money as the standard of tastings is exceptional. Highly recommended.
