the tour was fantastic. Food was good- come hungry. Our guide Almu was fantastic- great personality, gave us a grat history lesson on Roma food and was so much fun. The other guests were engaging and interesting. Do not hesitate to book this tour.

We enjoyed this tour because fellow travellers that we met on this occasion were very nice. Lots of good and interesting conversations but unfortunately not with our guide who seemed like a nice lady but not very knowledgeable. We didn’t see much of Navigli or heard any interesting stories or facts, seemed to walk in circles, aimlessly a bit… the food was very ordinary and the stops didn’t seem to have anything special about them. Ice cream were nice at the end of the tour.

Flavia was great! Very knowledgeable about the food and a great guide! The tour lasted roughly 2 hours longer than expected due to things outside of Flavia’s control but overall she did an amazing job. I’d recommend.

Loved This Tour!

Pedro was a wonderful tour guide, and this tour was the perfect combination of great food and history of Portugal. The food and drinks were wonderful and the tour was paced so that we could relax and enjoy each stop. In addition, Pedro provided us with tips and insights about dining in and around Lisbon. I wish I had connected with him earlier in my visit!

Delicious! This Lisboa tour fed our body And Soul

Our meeting point was easy to find. Once our group had all arrived, we were off on a fabulous adventure of culture, history, food, drink and just enough time at numerous places to enjoy ourselves. Pedro was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and kept us going at a perfect pace. I highly recommend this tour!!

Yes if you can walk uphill and stairs, otherwise no

Overall the experience was okay, you have to go through stairs and uphill for the entire trip, that was not a problem for me but because everyone else was elderly they weren’t able to walk as fast (some even ditched after the first stop) and this should be included in the information given prior to booking. The food was good the guide was good therefore I gave a 3

Memorable tour and wonderful guide

This was truly off the beaten path, but there was SO much history and wonderful experiences in an unexplored area of the city. I have to admit this was one of the most memorable tours we took while in Porto and Lisbon. I recommend you take this tour, but be prepared there are a lot of steps up to the magical part of the tour.

One of the best food tours!

Great tour with Carlos!! We explored different neighborhoods and enjoyed delicious food and drink. The walking was very manageable even with some hills & stairs which is very typical in Lisbon. Carlos looked after us and made sure we had plenty of food to enjoy. He brought us to some very local restaurants that I would have never found on our own. Come hungry and ready to enjoy an informative and fun experience. Thank you!

Best Food Tour Ever!

Our tour with Carlos was absolutely, totally fantastic! We went to the following places: A. Pão de Canela (Cod Ceviche, Bifana, Sparkling Wine from Bairrada Region). B. O Jardim (Peixinhos da Horta, Red Wine from Alentejo). C. Uva Livre Red Wine (Cheese, Olives, Porco Preto Ham) D. A Obra (Orange Wine, Octopus rice, Bolo de Bolacha & Moscatel) Each one was superb. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Orange Wine and the Octopus Rice (which I think is risotto). But really, there were all top notch. In addition, the restaurants were all in a fun, not touristy part of Lisbon which you probably wouldn't think to visit if you are here for only a few days. As for Carlos, he was just wonderful. He's very smart, very knowledgeable, and his love for both the food and Lisbon shone through everything. Maybe the only problem with this review is that I'm running out of superlatives, so I'll finish with this: we've taken a number of food tours over the years. This was by far the best. So thank you Carlos and Eating Europe!
