Great day with unexpected twists!

Awesome day with Carlos! Great food, wine and lots of history lessons that were very interesting to hear. The places he chose were unique and different than what people on the tour would have chosen, but we all enjoyed the ride!

Exceptional food tour

Such a wonderful tour. Our guide, Gonçalo, was really wonderful. Very knowledgeable and helpful, even with questions unrelated to food or the tour. The food was incredible - we tried all of the “must haves” and some special dishes. I could not recommend this more highly. It was our favorite of the trip.

Very enjoyable evening

I liked this food tour a lot. Gerard was personable and gave a lot of interesting commentary on the food and historical and social context for the places we saw on the walk. There were only 6 tourists so it was easy to chat with everyone. Overall a friendly group and enjoyable evening.

The Best Way to Eat Your Way Through Florence

One of the best decisions we made in Florence was booking this food tour, and it exceeded every expectation. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen — nothing filler, nothing touristy for the sake of it. The food and wine were exceptional across the board, but the wine cellar was a true highlight and something I'll be talking about for a long time. I have some dietary restrictions, and the team handled them seamlessly. I never felt like an afterthought or a logistical burden — everything was accommodated with genuine care, and I didn't miss out on a single moment of the experience. Our guide Alice was the perfect person to lead this tour. She struck a wonderful balance between sharing culinary knowledge and weaving in the history and culture of Florence in a way that felt natural rather than scripted. She also gave us some excellent recommendations beyond the tour itself — restaurants and spots we genuinely would not have found on our own. If you're visiting Florence and love food, wine, and genuinely good storytelling, do not skip this. Highly recommend!!

Lisbon eats!

Carlos was excellent! He did a beautiful job weaving bits of cultural history and nuance into the tour so it felt personal and intimate. We visited several places with food and beer/wine offerings, make sure to have an appetite!

Food Tour with Carlos (Vegetarian accommodations)

We took this food tour with Carlos. He was a great tour guide and took us to several different spots. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Portugal. He was able to accommodate my vegetarian restrictions last minute and all the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Eating Europe food tour for all!

We did the doctor in Rome and the Lisbon tour did not disappoint! Carlos was fantastic! We went to place that we never would have found on our own. Everything was superb, and Carlos’s narration gave us so much insight! Highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful tour with Luca. He was very fun and gave us so many interesting pieces of information. Had a great group (5 of the group were friends from Arkansas that came to Rome and surprised us) and a lovely couple from Hawaii! It was a great night. Lots of food and drink! Would definitely recommend this tour.

Our tour of Le Marais with Lucia was a truly wonderful experience blending Parisian/neighborhood history and plenty of delicious food to enjoy along the way.
