Thank you for a great day out the waterpark definitely caters for all ages. My only thing I thought was odd with all the ride safety and technology and money spent. I would have thought that you would have come up with a solution to the extreme temperature on the concrete surface moving from different slides . One of our family members received quite a nasty burn

Had so much fun here. Suggestion do a full day here, suggestion - do get a cabana - better value than competitor parks. Do look out for friends. (See video)

I read the reviews and really hoped for a different outcome.... - not enough shade with many chairs "saved" but people rarely sitting there. As someone who wasn't participating and therefore required shade all day this was frustrating. - lines were approximately 1hr per ride. My children commented the biggest holdups appeared to be.. -- families who wanted to go on rides together in uneven numbers trying to negotiate a change of rules -- families discovering someone was too small trying to bully the staff member because "they'd waited an hour in line" -- express pass people (when tickets are already expensive, having to pay an extra $155 for express seems a bit rich, but possibly the only way to have any fun) I noticed some life guards were more interested in socialising than doing their job (hey, you spend a few hours at the Wave Cave and you pick up on stuff!!), but to give credit where it is due, many were on the ball and doing their best. Oh, and entry was a breeze... Although noone cared about our passes, we could have been anyone!!

Busy very busy ! Aka school holidays. Best to get there at opening or wait until late afternoon. We got there at opening and managed to get seats to set up...however come 11am the wait times were excess 35+ mins. Still a good couple of hours for the kids and we are lucky we have annual passes.

If you’re looking for a perfect family day, the both kids and adults can enjoy. Then this is the place to visit. Situated right next to dreamworld. About half an hour out of Surfers Paradise right next to the M1. White water world is the perfect way to spend a nice, sunny, warm Gold Coast day. With a wave pool that has nice warm water. Not too gold. The kids can go on all the rides while the parents can relax on the deck chairs or in the cabanas. Just as long as you watch your kids in the wave pool. There is a section dedicated to toddlers. There are great thrill rides including a water roller coaster. You can get some great food and drinks here for lunch. When you’re done, Westfield shopping centre is just up the road and Costco if you need to stop on the way home. Being apart of Dreamworld, you can spend half the day at white water world. And half the day at Dream World. Or one day at each it you want more time. This is a must visit on your holiday at the Gold Coast.

Clean and tidy, but very long queues for rides, food and not enough seats. When it started raining there were very limited spots to go to with my little ones and eventually all the rides closed, even though the DreamWorld rides remained open. I am also very upset that I could not go down the slide with my 4 year old (the fully 6 tallest slide) He was terrified and didn’t want to go alone. After being told he had to go alone, he was so frightened that he stopped in the middle of the slide and then stood up. I felt the lifeguards did not do their job properly to go and help him get down safely and didn’t allow me to go help either. They didn’t go onto the slide to assist him and he stood up multiple times and tried to walk down. Luckily he didn’t get injured but it could have ended up being so much worse. The staff were also extremely slow in letting people go down the slides which makes the wait for the rides take so long and it is really not enjoyable to have to wait for more than an hour for a ride especially with kids. Need a better system in place! In general we did not have a good experience.

Had a great day with family. Not a fan of the express pass, increases everyone's wait time for a ride.

Too popular, better avoid busy time like school holiday. They had $49 super sale a month ago and I think they oversold. We went there on week day and only got 2 rides.

We have an annual pass to Waterworld, but so far we’ve only visited once. Overall, the experience was okay, but the park felt a bit small to us — though that might simply be because we’re used to much larger water parks in other countries, like Aquaventure in Dubai. Compared to those, Waterworld feels more compact and less grand in scale. That said, we understand that every park offers a different kind of experience, and size isn’t everything. While our first visit didn’t completely wow us, we’re keeping an open mind and plan to come back again to see if there are other redeeming qualities we might have missed the first time. Sometimes it takes a second visit to really appreciate a place. For now, it’s a decent option, especially for families looking for a local water park experience. We’re hoping that with another visit, we’ll discover more things to love about it.
