Not as expected
This trip was not as described. It was a small boat that went to three different snorkeling places and Cayos Cochinos. There was no licensed guide, The fees for the marine Park were not paid as part of the fees, we had to pay individually. The open bar consisted of one type of beer, soft drinks and water. We were just pointed to the areas we could snorkel. There was absolutely no safety precautions, lunch was a boxed lunch, brought along by the captain and the one English-speaking crew member. Unfortunately the ride back to Roatan was terrifying due to large waves in a small boat.

Beautiful Private Island Beach Day
We chose this all inclusive Beach Day, thinking it would be really great… it wasn’t great, it was awesome!! We arrived on the island and we were immediately greeted with a welcoming young lady named Nayeli! She would be the person that served us while we hung out on the beach for the entire visit. She was there to answer questions, provide service and coordinate our orders for food and drink. We briefly met Brad, the gentleman that created this amazing getaway on a must see island. We will be returning next year when we travel with 3 other families. Thanks for the great service Nayeli!

Driver was great, but be aware of Roatan immigration setup
So a little unsure about how to review this. The transfer was all good, was able to meet the driver, as expected, within a reasonable time frame. Having said that, it would have been nice to know that when leaving Roatan via the airport that you first need to be processed at the immigration office which is not at the airport itself. Thankfully I left plenty of time, but it cost me double as I then had to take a taxi from the airport, to the office, and back. I guess it should have been on me to know that, but would have been nice had the driver or transfer company verified with me prior to dropping me off.

Wasn’t sure what to expect.
1. You have to walk all the way out of the terminal and this will include up stairs and down steep hills on likely a wet road. 2. You will then look through about a 100 people holding signs for one holding a sign with your name. 3. 10 min drive to the course. All this was basically what I expected, not the best experience but everyone was nice and helpful. 4. Golf course…it is beautiful but, if you are thinking should I bring my clubs? Yes, if you are a scratch to 15 handicap bring your clubs. The greens were hard as a rock but rolled a little slower than you would think. There are multiple par 3s over 200 yards from the tips and they don’t give you a full set of irons. The carts do not have GPS but I used The Grint (app) and it worked great. The reasons I didn’t give 5 stars…1. The Pro was at the counter and didn’t speak to me at all or ask if I needed anything. I’ve been in the business for a long time and a Pro should take the time with every customer when it’s not busy. 2. The clubs were Callaway edge 10.5 degree drive, 3 wood 5 hybrid and 6-to sand wedge and an Odyssey putter. Not bad for an average golfer but I am a 4 handicap and hit a 9 degree driver and use my 4&5 irons often. Honestly it wasn’t the clubs as much as, they were not cleaned at all and they didn’t provide you anything to keep them clean through the round. Not even a small towel. The guy that greeted me told me not to buy balls inside the shop and to buy them from him. Not a good business plan for a golf course but I did bring a few balls so I was ok. This course is beautiful and unique but the bunkers are interesting. Every green gives you space but the ball will roll off every edge so stick to the middle. If I was to do this again I bring my own bag and equipment.

Killer upgrade
We were upgraded to the Black Pearl as there was some construction happening at the Black Iguana. This was outstanding, loved the course, Got to see more of the island. Can’t say enough, tough and beautiful exactly what we were looking for.

RELIABLE TRANSPORT SERVICE
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! From the time Adrian(the owner) picked us up at the airport, thur the 7 days of my stay he was there for us! He was cheaper than the service the hotel would of provided. So book your transfers and trips around the island with him. FYI , The taxis are nasty and small so use Roatan Airport Shuttle and Transport FOR ALL YOUR HERE AND THERE NEEDS! Let me add this ,this guy was great. ADRIAN and his daughter DIANE run the business and they were always on time, were reliable,are very trustworthy, and best of all,were dependable! I have to say, THIS COMPANY IS A MUST BOOK IN MY OPINION , DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ANY OTHER!

Good car and friendly driver, but due to the huge delay, I wouldn’t book it again
The driver was late for 1h20 minutes for the pickup. Also, the instructions weren’t super clear and the onshore team that we were instructed to meet said this was not booked via their agency, but privately. So they couldn’t do a lot about the delay. This part was super stressful and I tried to cancel during the delay, but it was not refundable. Do not leave the port otherwise people will try to scam you. After we met the driver, he was super friendly, drives well and has a good condition car. The other confusion was that we booked the tour with beach chairs and beach club, but he said he didn’t have any voucher for that and we might needed to pay for it, which was unacceptable. Since the tide was so high and there was no beach, this became pointless to fight for in the end.

Spectacular Reef!
If you want to snorkel at the best reef area in Roatan- you must go to Pigeon Cay It was my second time doing this excursion. I was with my brother who had never been. It is spectacular. Shallow reef in crystal clear water. Just my brother and I and our guide Captain Walter Talk about a bargain for the price (it is)

Horrible Experience
Half of the golf course was closed down. The other half they had just aerated the greens. They were all sand. Completely unplayable. I only played 9 holes. I would like a refund.

Roatan vacation
The driver was there at the airport with signage with our name and it was great. The van was clean and the driver was very friendly and courteous.

Great Experience
Scheduled a transfer from the airport to our rental. Communication was top notch, and Alex, our driver, was waiting for us when we arrived — even though our flight had been delayed. Alex shared plenty of his local knowledge as he skillfully navigated the narrow streets and delivered us safely to our destination. Highly recommend!
