A great way to spend a day in Mexico!
This was so informative and fun. I loved it and have recommended to all my friends. The added bonus was a pdf of all the recipes! I would 100% do this again.

From the festive and welcoming entry to the incredible food, and the sweet ending with tequila education and churros, this tour was fantastic all around. We were a small group of 6, and one couple in the group was returning for their second taco tour… they clearly needed “Juan More Taco,” and came back to get it! Love that local businesses are supported, and the tasting incorporates many things I would not have otherwise tried. Come hungry; the tour is more than filling. Milton was an excellent host, so knowledgeable and accommodating, and provided great intel about the city and things to experience. We will be sharing this experience with others and will do it again next time in Cabo. I will also look for them when visiting other cities!

A great cooking experience in Puerto Vallarta
Enrique was a fantastic guide. Started off by visiting the market. He explained many things : how to buy fish, how tacos are made and the history of Mexico. After he made his purchases for the lunch we were going to prepare he drove us to his lovey home where we were greeted by his wife and helpers. We were taught how to make empanadas and tortillas, octopus salad, shrimp and rice and shrimp sauce. The food was delicious and the class was a lot of fun. Can’t wait to do it again.

Taking a three-hour cooking class with your someone special is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the flavors of Mexico. Chef Alma from Cookin’ Playa couldn’t have been more welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about both Mexican cuisine and its rich history. We started by making fresh tortillas from scratch. The salsas we prepared were quick and bursting with flavor and the taquitos were absolutely delicious. Every dish we created was something we could easily recreate at home, making the experience not just enjoyable but practical as well. Also, the class catered well for vegetarian and vegan options. Beyond the cooking, Chef Alma shared fascinating insights into Mexican culinary traditions, ingredients, and even a bit of local history—including why Playa del Carmen has its name! This class was a true highlight of our trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable activity in Playa del Carmen. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a beginner, you’ll leave with new skills, great memories, and a full stomach!

True Mexican experience. Along with the incredible staff made this a must do experience in Cabo. Karina and her crew are the best. We learned to cook, dance, and make the most delicious Margherita we’ve ever tasted.

From margaritas to mole!
Francisco was an incredibly engaging host. We took our time buying groceries in the market as he explained how he picks vegetables for his dishes. Then we headed back to his house, where everything was ready to go to fix drinks and food from hibiscus margaritas to the main dish of mole. I will never use margarita mix again. His mole was made from scratch with amazingly complex flavors. Our group had a great time and we also got the meet his family who helped with the prep. What a delightful time! We highly recommend this adventure!

Juan More Taco & Tequilla
What a fun, tasty and very filling tour! Went to about 6 or 7 small taco places and tasted a wide variety of fillings. The guide recommended the best at each stop, but you could get another of you wanted. We couldn’t finish a whole taco by the end! Our guide, Milton, was wonderful. Really enjoyed his commentary. After all the tacos, we got a lesson in how tequila is made and aged. Got small sips of about 8 or 9 different tequilas. Highly recommend.

Back Again, Brought Friends!
Repeat customers! Brought our friends this time and they loved it! Food, drinks and dancing are amazing!! Best guacamole, salsa and Margs. This is a family run business and there is so much love amongst the family. Aside from the amazing food and company, I loved catching a peek into the kitchen where Karina’s family had gathered to eat and chat. So heartwarming!! We will be back for a three peat!!

Had such a great time with Carolina. I'm so full I needed a nap. I learned so much with making Adobo Sauce & Al Pastor, As well as, Carnitas. I thought I knew how to make salsa & guacamole but now I can make it great. Had a great day with Mercabo!

Great market and cooking experience
Enrique did a fabulous job showing us around the market and teaching about local ingredients. From there we went to his home and prepared biarra tacos, 7 different salsas and guacamole, and made our own tortillas. Everything was delicious!

Our hostess Katrina was amazing, she has so much energy and knowledge. The margaritas we made were the best I’ve ever had. We participated in preparing the meal, which was delicious.! Katrina gave us salsa lessons and the band that played was great!
