Great tour & great food!
Great tour! Our guide Karina was kind and knowledgeable. We made stops at 3 taco places (el paisa, tacos may, los claros), got tamales, ice cream/fruit bars, and sopes, and finished the tour with a tequila tasting & churros. More than enough food for a person and a great way to find some spots to return to if you do the tour early on in your vacation!

Great Food Tour
We really enjoyed our food trip with David of Juan More Taco. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the downtown neighborhoods and the foods. We ate a lot of delicious foods and we were pretty full by the end of our tour.

Would recommend to a friend
This was very fun, easy, personalized and so tasty. It started in introductions of the staff, a small trip by van to two markets to pick the food and hands on food prep that we shared. The cook is also a musician, self serve authentic margueritas and traditional tequila tasting with a friendly vibe. We enjoyed this very much. Different recipe each each so choose your favourite..Good quality experience.Recommend

This local taco tour was fabulous! Miguel was very knowledgeable in all aspects of the local food and which Mexican state it derived from. Come hungry because after 4 different stops with 4 different tacos we were all pretty stuffed!

Amazing food and experience. There was music, dancing,great drinks, wonderful service, friendly people. I will go back plan on take advantage of their tours and cooking classes.

Best food of the whole trip!
This was definitely a highlight for us! We got to walk around town and look at all the local markets! The tortilla factory was my favorite, still the best tortilla of my life. Issi is a wonderful host. He shared the culture and his home with us. We made tri tip tacos and birria along with guacamole, salsa, corn tortillas and fresh margaritas. Can’t wait to come back and try a different menu!

A perfect activity in Cabo!
We loved the entire evening! This was a great experience. We learned to make the tastiest margaritas, salsa and guacamole, ate amazing tacos and churros, danced and had a great tequila tasting. Karena was an amazing host and we left feeling like family. Highly recommend!

Cooking class in Playa del Carmen
Great experience! Alma not only shared her knowledge of cooking but gave us information about the local area that was very interesting and helpful. We all got to participate in the cooking and the meal was delicious! Highly recommend for people that love to cook or just love to eat and want to experience authentic Mexico!

Exactly what we were looking for!
We loved our tour! David did a fabulous job leading us to some great places in downtown Cabo San Lucas. It was exactly what we were looking for. The tour was accommodating for our infant (I recommend a baby carrier, not a stroller). The start and end were easy to find. This was a great way to start our week in Cabo- gives us time to go back to a few of these taco stops!

Mexican Cooking Fun
Super fun and the food was authentic and delicious! Chef Alberto was able to work with my food preferences (gf vegan) as well as my husbands (meat eater). I learned a lot and had a great time. Highly recommend this experience!!!

Cooking Mexican food and meeting new friends.
You will start your tour at the local Mexican market. Our tour guide was friendly and fun. We shopped for everything we would need to make fresh salsa, guacamole, salsa verde, and 2 types of tamales. We stopped and tried fresh, hot corn tortillas. We then went to his house and cooked the afternoon away with new friends. Fun experience @

Not just a cooking class…
Really enjoyed this class that focused on not only preparing and cooking Mexican dishes but also hearing about the history of the the city, culture and meals themselves. Alva was amazing and would highly recommend this as an authentic experience in Playa Del Carmen!

10/10 recommend !! We made salsas, guac, chili rellanos, and tortillas!! The customer service was off the charts. We’ll come back to visit for sure!!

Incredible culinary experience with locals
We had such an amazing time with the owner & staff of Mercabo. Everyone was so patient, attentive & kind. They taught how to cook the dishes, but also kept the good vibes going the entire time. I enjoyed having the opportunity to support small businesses throughout the community as well. We had delicious food, margaritas & they even gave us dessert. We also got an apron to take home too. I loved that they provided us with a PDF of all their recipes. This was a 10/10 experience & I’d definitely go back.
