Cooking with Francisco
Francisco met us right on time at the designated spot. He was gracious and fun as he taught us to choose just the right limes and avocados at the market as well as the types of peppers/chilies that are available. He drove us to his home where his son, Pablo, had prepped the table and had knives for meal prep. The two of them began prepping a delicious meal that we were invited to participate in squeezing, chopping, mixing, rolling and pressing (tortillas). We started with delicious hibiscus margaritas, and made guacamole to start. Every item was fresh and delicious. Exceptionally satisfying and informative! Francisco and Pablo were an excellent team and every aspect of our day was welcoming and comfortable. Thank you Francisco for a fun/delicious afternoon.

Great staff, great food, great drinks!
This was a great experience. Friendly staff, great food, great drinks. We loved going to the tortilla factory, the produce shop and the butcher to get our ingredients for the day. The location was comfortable, clean, and centrally located to other shopping. Preparing the sauces and spices was wonderful and we are excited to try the recipes when we go home. We do wish we could have done more of the cooking to learn more of the techniques- Most of what we did was chopping and mixing, while the staff demoed actual cooking.

Fantastic! My wife and I learned a great deal about the culture and playa del Carmen cooking. We also learned about the history of the city as well. Then sat down and ate our food, which was great!

Great tacos!
What a great tour! Milton was awesome and made sure everyone had a fun time. The tacos were some of the best I've had and there was a lot of selections at each stop. If you're an adventurous eater, I highly recommend going with Milton's suggestions. After the tour I was so full. The tequila tasting at the end was wonderful as well!

So much fun!
This was excellent! Exceeded my expectations for an outing in Cabo. We started with visiting markets to get ingredients and then returned to the family-owned restaurant to do most of the food prep and margarita making (yum!). Then we feasted! So much fun.

A must do in Cabo
Our experience was wonderful. We went to the open public market to buy the recipes ingredients and then we also went to go see the tortilla factory. We made street tacos and sides. It was incredible. I learned to make salsa and Verde. It’s definitely recipes. I wanna take home and try. The staff was truly amazing and the music was great. The tequila tasting was very informative. It was fun.

Amazeballs!!!
Absolutely hands down an amazing experience. We learned about the history of Cabo, the different cooking styles of areas of Mexico, went to different markets driven by our hosts, to “buy” our ingredients. Came back to prepare (well, help) out food…AFTER being shown the proper way to make a margarita! Listened to live music, danced with sombreros and met cool people! When meal was over, we were whisked into the tequila tasting room where we learned about the making of tequilas and how to properly taste and enjoy the different kinds. It was such fun and I will be booking every time we come back as their menu changes! Do it! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Real Mexican Cooking!
If you love relaxing and enjoying good food at a friend’s house then this cooking experience is for you. My husband and I throughly enjoyed learning authentic Mexican recipies in Lilly and Alberto’s cosy kitchen. They were so very hospitable and easy to talk to. We will be making our own delicious pico de gallo, guacamole, verde and rojo salsa, chicken mole, peppers and onions, and tortillas at home after the excellent instruction we received.

Salsa-Salsa and Margaritas!
My friends couldn't believe I signed up to make tacos and my husband said no way to salsa dancing. 10 minutes in and we were all having a blast. The best food we had on our entire trip. And the margaritas are the best you will ever have. At the end of the night you get to enjoy a tequila 101 class. We all wood do again in a heart beat. We especially enjoyed our host Karna. She put us all at ease immediately, told wonderful stories and kept us all moving.

Such a great experience..
If you are looking for something "different" this is it. Chef Alma is not only a world class chef but a true historian and Mexican heritage expert. Her personality is perfect for this tour. She is so knowledgable but funny at the same time. We went with 3 couples and could not have had a better time. The food is amazing but the way she does it makes sure everyone learns and could replicate the recipes when you get home. To top it all off she gives you a book of family recipes at the end of the tour. 3 hours is just the right amount of time. You are all finished at 1:00pm with a full tummy and lots of memories. The only thing that would make it better is if she offered soft drinks or beer for sale.

Well worth booking this experience!
This was great experience, even for my 12 year old! It exceeded our expectations and the family that runs the class could not be more hospitable. The food and drinks were delicious and they even had a live musician during the class. The van that took us to the markets was very clean. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food tour!
Miguel was fantastic! He took us off the beaten path to experience really authentic Mexican food. He explained the different areas of Mexico and their culture. His taught us of the different areas prepare food. We all had a great time!!! Then Carolina taught us about tequila and we had a tasting. Excellent tequila! She did a great job. Would highly recommend this tour!!!
