Another fantastic experience, another fun day cooking.
Another fantastic experience. We have taken several classes with Alma over the years and always learn so much about Mexican food, history and culture. Coming into Chef Alma’s home makes you instantly feel like family. I learn new skills every time and have so much fun meeting other people, cooking and eating what we made. I make several of my favorite dishes at home now. Want to learn how to make killer guac and authentic salsas? Take this class.

Experience Local with a wonderful host
Great experience to see and taste local food, walk through the local streets and meet amazing people. Our host Milton was so warm and inclusive you felt so very welcome and provided us with lots of information about the area and all the different characteristics of Tacos! We had a great time.

Absolutely phenomenal!
Fantastic experience! Educational, fun, and entertaining adventure all in one. From visiting the tortilla factory to rounding up ingredients at a local marker to helping with food prep and cooking, the team did a phenomenal job. Super yummy food and drinks and then all the recipes to boot. Sampling the food along the process was exciting and satisfying as well. 1000000 % recommend this family business to any of my family and friends. You won’t regret it!!

The food was excellent in all places, the tour guide was able to add so much to the tour with her knowledge of the regional food specialties throughout Mexico and the history of the restaurants we were eating at, and she added in her personal recommendations, which helped guide us to what we wanted to try at each place. We ended the tour completely stuffed, and the ending ice cream and tequila tasting was the perfect way to close the tour.

The absolute best cooking class I have ever experienced. The host, hospitality, Tequila tasting, food, and people were all exceptional! I can’t wait to come back in a few months and take this class again!

Two Locations
Didn’t get to go because there is a Cabo San Lucas and Cabo San Jose. So when I searched for Cabo San Lucas this came up and I booked unaware there are two. You really should emphasize that there are two locations.

Good time with food
Had a really nice time! Learned alot about Mexican food & culture. Would have liked to make more side dishes. It was mentioned that the group would shop at a market, then cook. We didn't do that, hence 4 instead of 5 stars.

Wonderful cooking class!
Francisco is a wonderful ambassador to Mexico and its rich culture! His warmth, humor, and teaching were appreciated by all in my party of four. This tour is suitable for all, including curious but mature children.

Local family happily brings together a group of strangers through their local culture, fresh food and tequila.
I writhing this review as a happy, full and throughly satisfied participant. The experience had a good vibe, it was safe, fun, and very well orchestrated; from the pick up to the market visits to everyone’s involvement in the cooking process. Food was delicious, fresh & awesome. Accommodations were made for people in our group with food & alcohol restrictions without missing a beat to the process. We found the tequila 101 class at the end a bonus land very well done.

Had the BEST time!
This was by far our most favorite activity of our vacation. The staff was incredibly nice and the food was delicious! We enjoyed shopping for the ingredients and then coming back and turning those simple ingredients into a fabulous lunch. From the margaritas to the tortillas to the tamales and incredible salsa and guacamole, everything was perfect. We were stuffed at the end of lunch, but so happy. We feel like we found a real gem with this experience.

Great experience all around
Great experience. It was a lot of fun for the whole family. The team kept us all engaged and well entertained. Visiting the local markets to pickup the ingredients was very cool. The food was delicious. Good music, and the drinks were very tasty. Definitely recommend the experience.

Creative way to teach how to make tamales.
The experience was awesome! Their whole family works there, so they take pride in their homemade food. They taught us how to make margaritas, Mexican salsa, and tamales. They were so good!

Incredible tour of local restaurants and so much delicious. That said the best part was getting to learn about the culture and venture into restaurants we would have otherwise passed by.

Amazing tour. This was so much fun, David was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. We had so many great foods and drinks. We've been coming to Cabo for about 4 years but there's so many options for food that it was great to be able to get an actual guide to walk you around and tell you about the city and area and they set it up so you get the best foods and service at about 6 restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour. Save room before you go, there's a lot to eat.

Cooking with Francisco
Francisco met us right on time at the designated spot. He was gracious and fun as he taught us to choose just the right limes and avocados at the market as well as the types of peppers/chilies that are available. He drove us to his home where his son, Pablo, had prepped the table and had knives for meal prep. The two of them began prepping a delicious meal that we were invited to participate in squeezing, chopping, mixing, rolling and pressing (tortillas). We started with delicious hibiscus margaritas, and made guacamole to start. Every item was fresh and delicious. Exceptionally satisfying and informative! Francisco and Pablo were an excellent team and every aspect of our day was welcoming and comfortable. Thank you Francisco for a fun/delicious afternoon.
