First, I have to say that John, our guide, was amazing. Funny, personable, and very knowledgable, he made the trip! Three cheers for John. There are limitations with a trip like this - it's a huge distance to cover, and we didn't have as much time in Pompeii as I would have liked. That is inevitable and we knew it going in. But we had an excellent guide there, whose knowledge and information gave us the context and depth of background that just wandering around for longer would not have given us. All in all, it was a good trade. `Sorrento is lovely, and I'm glad we went there as well, although it made for a very late return to Rome. In general, I would recommend this.

Olga was an amazing guide! As a native from Barcelona, she grew up in the neighborhood and answered all our questions with a smile and lots of insider-knowledge. I‘d rate this tour 10 stars - we were a lovely group of four women and it was a wonderful experience, full of open hearts, laughter and chatting.

The tour was amazing!!!All the people that we encountered were knowledgeable and did an amazing job. The highlight of the tour of course was Pompeii and the tour guide was excellent in passing all the information to the people around him. Sorrento is very graphic and has amazing view of the volcano. Special thank you to Gianni for being calm and patient while driving and Natashia for her assistance during the whole tour and her amazing sense of humour. Thank you again!!!

Pompeii was amazing! our gide Lydia was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Laura was our guide in the coach bus and shed always wake us up by playing Italian music. she also keeps us entertained with fun facts about Italian history. Overall great trip and experience.
