A lovely day in the Tuscan countryside!
What a marvelous day trip from Rome! It's a 12 hour day, but worth it. After a morning coffee stop, we made our way to Montepulciano for a walking tour. We had a great guide, Serena, who herself is a local. She was knowledgeable about the history of the town and area. We left for Pulcino, a farm/winery for a lovely lunch with wine tastings (generous pourings, I might add). This lunch was a highlight of our overall trip to Rome, actually. A stop after at Pienza (even smaller town than Montepulciano) was delightful (despite the "drown-pour" of rain that day). The drive back to Rome was challenging in the heavy rain, but our driver was a trooper! We arrived back to Rome 12 hours after we left. Worth it!

Great trip, just a so-so lunch.
Loved the countryside, the stops. However I was disappointed in the lunch. We had 4 glasses of wine in front of us with no idea what to drink with which course. The spaghetti was bland with no detectable seasonings. The desert biscuit dunked in the 4th wine was lost on me. The highlight was the delicious organic honey. I bought a jar. Our tour guide, Viviana, was a rock star! What a wealth of knowledge! And a great personality.

Go do the tour with this company. You wont be disappointed.
John and Ray did a great job today at Normandy. They had so much knowledge that helped bring the whole history together. They were also efficient in getting us place to place to see everything but not waste time.

terrible experience!
Do NOT book with CityWonders!!! After talking to a representative, who said that walkers/rollators are okay, we booked this tour. When we arrived at the meeting place, we were denied to take the tour because we had walkers. We visited the Vatican on our own and had no problems whatsoever walking the entire site. When asked for a refund (after all, they cancelled on us, not the other way around) they refused. Eventually they agreed to give us back LESS than 1/2 what we paid! Don't waste your money!

Great tour company for a day trip to Tuscany!
Tour guide Viviana and driver Luca were amazing! Viviana gave a delightful and informative tour, and she was thoughtful, and joyful in her presentations. She gave everyone plenty of time to follow, waited for stragglers with unending patience, and answered individual questions by sharing her knowledge with the entire group. Her pride in her job and her country were very much on display. The only disappointment was with the lunch at the winery. During a tour of the cellars, one of the owners had explained about the types of wines they produced, that would be presented with our meal. However, by the time we sat down to eat, we didn’t get the information again, and it would have greatly enhanced the experience to know what wine was intended to be paired with which food, and why it enhanced the taste of that particular dish/course. The lunch also felt a bit rushed. Overall, the day trip was lovely, and the Tuscany region is definitely worth a future visit! I wouldn’t hesitate to use City Wonders tour company in the future.

Great tour!!
The tour was great and the guide was wonderful. Murano is so neat and the glass is amazing. But so is beautiful. We would have liked a bit longer seeing the lace making and the glass work but enjoyed the free time.

Fantastic Tour with a very Knowledgeable Guide
Carolina did such a fantastic job in providing so much information about the paintings in the museum. She also provided structure, which helped so much in navigating thru such a vast museum. If you want to make the most of your visit at the Louvre, this is your tour.

Great tour and guide!
Our guide was great! We arrived for our Viking Mediterranean tour early and they did not offer any local tours for the dates we had. I looked on line and found what I wanted to see in the time I had and one of the tours was this tour. Meeting point was easy to find the representatives at the meeting location were great and knew what we needed to have and do. The actual tour company was with Blue City Tours. I highly recommend both Blue City and Viator for booking your tours. Our guide for the tour knew all anyone ever wanted to know about the Colosseum and Rome at the the time of it's use and construction.

An amazing tour from Paris
Our family had an amazing time on our Normandy D-Day Landing Beaches Day Trip with Cider tasting and Lunch from Paris. Out meet location was easy to find, our guides John and Raymond collected our group on time and placed us in a brand new bus. We also had Ana amazing driver, incredible how he was able to get us thru narrow streets safely. and comfortably to and from Paris. We highly recommend City Tours for your upcoming tour, the guys were knowledgeable and super funny. Our trip to Normandy was amazing, thanks John and Raymond.

Very well organized, with a lovely young woman as a guide. She presented everything so beautifully. The Museum is lovely and you can easily mingle along the crowds. It was an amazing experience even though I was so afraid it would be crowded. The French people handle it so good!
