Mateo, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable about the historic site. He was friendly, humorous and thoughtful. He made this tour an unforgettable Venetian experience.

A great Day in Tuscany
It was great, the mtg point was easy to find. The Tour guide Alessandro was AMAZING. He did just the right amount of talking , allowing us to rest as well since it was an early day. The day went smooth the only down of the day was that the winery should give more wine, it felt very controlled my table and I wished the tasting was a bit more.

Great Day with John and Ash
John and Ash were great tour guides, providing great commentary to shorten the long drive (about 3 hrs from Paris.). I really appreciate John's in depth knowledge of WWI and WWII and his book and movie recommendations. I've read other reviews that there wasn't enough time at the museum and I will echo that here. But it's a long day and you can only fit in so much. Having the option to bring your lunch to spend more time at the museum would be a great alternative. Visiting the American cemetery was both sobering and reflective; something every American should do if they have the means so that the word sacrifice is fully understood and appreciated. Rewatching Band of Brothers after this tour.

Borghese gallery came as...
Borghese gallery came as a nice surprise to our trip. We didn't except us to be so invested and excited about the experience. A huge part in that played our wonderful guide Alessandra (Alex) who navigated the tour with passion, enthusiasm and a rare level of mindfulness. The gallery itself is breathtaking and can captivate anyone even if he/she is not an art savant. We would totally recommend visiting with Alex, as she elevates the experience with her knowledge, friendliness and true love of art.

The trip to Pompeii/Amalfi Coast/Positano was amazing. From the historical, archaeological, and geological aspects of Pompeii to the sunny seaside afternoon in Positano, the trip was absolutely breathtaking. Errica, our guide, was very knowledgeable and funny, which made the trip special for us. 10 out of 10!!

a lot of information in a very constricted time frame. Very difficult to hear and follow our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and very excited but spoke facing away from the group quite often and spoke faster than I could follow

The winery with lunch was excellent but the day trip to the small towns were mostly empty due to low season so there wasn’t much to do

The views were amazing. We caught a sunny day so the snow was glowing. Our guide Claudia was very nice, telling us at almost each little town about the history and answering every question we had. It’s a great experience!

Overall, the tour was very disorganized and the guide was all over the place and had very poor communication skills. He was not able to story tell cohesively which made the narrative hard to follow. He also does not keep count of his group nor does he wait for the group to be complete before he starts each his spiel. He also brought along his son, who was not the most behaved - eating in the catacombs, stomping around, kicking railings, picking up and taking home stones. On transportation, the organizer was not able to secure a bus so they booked 8 vans for 2 groups to go in. Our guide accidentally put us in the wrong van, one that was going to Venice so we had to unload and change vans. He also did not set meeting points even though the groups were separated, leaving the participants to fend for themselves as he starts his tour without them. 2 stars are for the actual museums and catacombs which I would visit again with a different tour company.
