Well worth the money
Serena, our guide, was excellent and very informative. The islands were great to visit and Burano in particular was very picturesque. I would definitely recommend doing this trip. Sicuro

Advise going march time...
Advise going march time as each site was busy but according to the tour guide it was quiet. Was a brilliant experience. Bring rain gear just in case, the majority of it is outdoors

Colosseum and Forum
Our guide was Giorgio, he was fantastic Honestly from start to finish he was so good, we had visited the colosseum before without a guide and it was a waste of time It seemed expensive when we booked it but can I say it was 100% worth it

Prime example of over touristing
Massively overcrowded. Poorly laid out. Random exhibition on first floor unrelated to the Colosseum. Little signage.

Awesome Day!
This was an all day wonderful experience. We left on time, had a comfort stop and continued on. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the bus driver awesome! Enrica was so funny and had such good stories and knew so much history. Roman our bus driver , I dont know how he managed that bus on some of those roads! Just incredible! Stopped at the same place on the way back and had a little more time to look around before getting back to Rome.

Guaranteed no wait one big guaranteed lie
This was a “no waiting guaranteed” yet for some reason our guide had our group wait in the line for unticketed visitors for 35 minutes in cold temperatures (40 degrees). Once we got to the front of the line, the lady in the ticket booth told him we didn’t need to wait as he had pre-printed tickets. He claimed he had been giving tours for 6 months, but this seemed like his first day. He was a very low talker and we couldn’t hear anything he said about the tower during this unnecessary wait. We basically got nothing other than tickets to access the tower. Avoid at all costs.

DON'T use third party, the tour company will NOT HELP you if needed!!
The tour itself WAS good! However, due to someone's error in assigning names with DOBs on the tickets, some of my group were denied access. Crown Tours aka City Wonders, was not very helpful in resolving my situation. When I described what had happened ( the names on the tickets were reversed with the dates of birth I had given in my reservation), Sky (the representative of Crown Tours) simply replied that I had made the mistake and she would not help me. I filed a complaint and partial refund request with Trip Advisor, only to be ignored for OVER A WEEK. I called out Crown Tours for not being very customer friendly and then she (Sky) obliged my request to actually contact third party Trip Advisor/Viator. They actually got back to me in 15 minutes without giving a reason for denying my request. They have denied showing me proof my alleged error All I know for sure is that I paid for the tour and because somebody else screwed up, and NOBODY WILL TAKE THE BLAME, some of my party missed out on seeing the Colosseum in Rome. Our tour guide was lovely and I thank her for her help, but everybody else was very easy to pass the buck. ALWAYS BOOK WITH THE TOUR COMPANY, not third party!

Exceeded our expectations
Our tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and the Forum was informative, engaging and organized as our guide expertly ushered our group through the tour. He was an older gentleman with a pleasant and friendly demeanor willing to answer questions and made sure the group remained intact. The group gravitated to his stories and descriptions of the artifacts while we marched around the monuments at a good pace with ample opportunity to take photos while listening to our guide through the audio device given to each participant. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to friends and family who plan to visit Rome in the near future. You will not be disappointed that you paid for this phenomenal tour of some of the most important and stunning artifacts of antiquity.

Sam and Daniel were wonderful guides. The tour was informative and included so many great places. Very moving places to visit.

Very long day
The 13 hour trip lasted 15 1/2 hours. Needless stop at Lemoncello factory. Barbara was lovely, but spent too much time talking about food.

Glass Making
The host was outstanding. She provided insight to the islands history and glass making. She was wonderful to talk with and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed the boat ride and overall experience.

Great Tour!
What a great tour! Daniel and Sam were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Both guides were loaded with information! Tour was on time the whole way through. Long drive but they stop for snacks on the way there and back. Also had a few choices for lunch which was nice!

Views and wine
It was fantastic. The views were fabulous. The guides were great. I wish the restaurant experience was a little more wine and clearer on how to eat everything and what to pair it with. The explanation was quick and our table was pretty confused what to do. I would still recommend it though. Probably drop the church excursion it is too short and not as good as the other places. Heather was great!

Amazing day .. epic tour
Our tour guide, Amy, was the best! Her knowledge and sense of humour helped make this tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Basilica very enjoyable. Such a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget. Cannot recommend this guide and tour company enough.
