Lots of waisted time at tourist traps

Trip to Pompeii was nice, I felt a little rushed, we didn’t have time to see the whole place it was basically the highlights. The bus drive there was broken into segments. We stopped at several tourist traps that I didn’t need. Lunch was pizza on the bus. I probably wouldn’t book again.

Excellent half-day excursion

This was a great experience. Our guide Silvia was truly excellent: kind, funny, informative, and so helpful. She shared interesting historical and cultural information as the boat cruised from Venice to Murano and then Burano, and she offered great suggestions for places to check out while on both islands (take her suggestion for both gelato and the fritto misto and spritzes while on Burano - we loved what we ate at both locations!). Additionally, on the ride back Silvia will share personalized restaurant and other local suggestions for the rest of the time in Venice. She was so welcoming and made the morning a great one. The glassblowing demonstration is truly impressive, and I did not feel any pressure to purchase anything (though I actually did because there were some beautiful pieces). The lace demonstration is appropriately short, allowing you more free time to roam lovely Burano. The boat was comfortable and the experience was well organized. I would recommend it to anyone for a great half-day excursion!

Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St peter's Basilica tour

Skip the line was great and the tour guide was knowledgeable and walked us through the Museum and left us at the Chapel. Since it was Wednesday and since the St Peter's Basilica had some event in the morning the tour operator couldn't take us there even though we paid for all three (Museum, Chapel and Basilica), but the tour guide gave us tips what time to go the next day which was helpful as we went in the morning on Thursday at 7.30 with no line and able to see perfect.

Wasn’t able to go on tour but they called to check on us and I appreciate that greatly!

I had confirmed our tour the night before but then we went out and I re-broke my knee in Rome (after breaking it 9 months ago in Dublin lol) I didn’t think to contact the tour company to then cancel. But the morning of the tour, they were kind enough to call to see if we were on our way. We were so bummed to not see the sites on our last day there but were very thankful for the tour company calling. Had we been running late, etc. I would’ve appreciated the call then too. So thank you to the tour operators for their follow through. Wish we could’ve gone.

I wanted to express our dissatisfaction with your company regarding this booking. We were so looking forward to this tour as we have had great experiences with your company previously. Unfortunately, we made a mistake that I am sure has been made before, and arrived at the wrong location for the tour. We started contacting your company 25 minutes before the tour was to begin and received no help. In fact, when we were on the phone with your customer support, and were explaining where we were, they had no idea how to tell us where we were supposed to be. Had they given us the information we easily would have made our tour on time. We at least requested our tickets to the Louvre which were sent; however, they were not the ones that would allow entry. All of this was us being on the phone with your company on and off for over an hour. Not only did we lose the money on our tour, but we had to purchase additional tickets. I asked for a refund since your company could not provide us the correct information to get to our tour, but of course, that was an immediate no. We will no longer be using your company for any of our travels, and share this information with anyone we know traveling. As business owners, we were shocked at the lack of knowledge when we needed help, and then were immediately told no for the refund. We completely understand your policies, and although you may see this as our fault for this honest mistake, you did have an opportunity to steer us in the right direction to make our tour on time, but were not able to.

The tour was interesting. The tour guide, Marikah, is amazing, she is very knowledgeable and attentive. And from all the tour guides in Italy that I had experience with, her English so far is the best: good and clear.

Le Vatican est une vraie usine à fric. Tous à la queue leu leu pendant plus d’une heure pour arriver a la chapelle sixtine, pièce dans laquelle on ne peut même pas prendre de photo. Visite en mars, je n’imagine même pas en haute saison!

Barbara our tour guide was amazing. She was very informative and kept us engaged as the audience. Even when the catacombs were closed for a short while Barbara kept us informed and on arrival to the Catacombs she was knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend her for the tour.

This was a really enjoyable day trip out of Rome. It was very well organised from the meet up all the way through to the stops, the handover to the Pompeii guide, the limoncello factory and the free time in Sorrento. Antonino was an extremely knowledgeable and gracious guide providing us with lots of information about our stops as well as general tips to enjoy Rome when we got back. The guide in Pompeii was lovely too, she took her time to show us the incredible city and was very knowledgeable. It is a long day and although you don’t feel it on the way there due to the frequent stops, the traffic can be awful on the way back to Rome so that bit is tiring. No fault of the tour company though, just something to note if for example you have an early morning the next day. I would highly recommend this day trip with Citywonders and Antonino.

à part le fait qu'on est peu fait la queue grâce au coupe file. la guide qui nous ramène à l'entrée à été très expéditive devant la porte. Pas d'aurevoir rien. Pas d'explication. prenez bien note que ce n'est juste qu'un passe partout qui nous ouvre l'accès. rien de plus. l'application dans toutes les langues n'expliquait pas chaque peinture mais juste une zone globale. concernant le musée en lui même nous avons appréciés mais nous pensons que des personnes de religion chrétienne comprennent mieux ce qu'ils voient. même si les peintures, sculptures, tapisseries étaient magnifique. concernant la chapelle sixtine, nous nous attendions à voir une chapelle lumineuse, presque angélique. ce n'est pas le cas..c'est très sombre. les peintures restent malgré tout magnifiques. nous trouvons donc que 65€ était un peu excessif surtout concernant le prestataire.
