Silvia the great!!!
Silvia was a great guide! She is very knowledgeable about the Colosseum and the Forum. It was a great experience with lots of information. This place is beautuful and the art work is amazing. The forum was just as amazing as the Colosseum. The History is amazing!! This is a must do tour. Sylvia did an amazing job, she's patient kind and enjoyed answering questions. Her accent is lovely and understandable. Make sure to ask for Silvia if you want a fun and thorough tour.

A basic overall tour with a good guide
We started with the meet up just outside the Tower walls, where Ray was easy to find. Overall, our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Next, Ray gave us a history of the Tower of London, followed by Ravensmaster Michael "Barney" Chandler, who explained the Opening Ceremony which followed. We were given approximately an hour to explore the Tower of London on our own. Next was a boat ride up the Thames. This was just public transportation on a covered boat, but our guide pointed out various sights along the way. We next walked to Trafalgar Square where our guide pointed out various monuments of note. We ended at Buckingham Palace where we were to watch the Changing of the Guard, but we were too late. I took off a star for that. Overall, I enjoyed the tour. It is very basic, so if you're looking for an in depth, guided tour of the Tower of London, you'll want to look elsewhere. If you specifically want to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, I would book that separately and specifically so as not to miss it.

Straight to front of the line with a full sit down breakfast with cappuccino to start. The guide was extremely knowledgeable on the history and talked with headsets the entire time which truly made the tour so much more interesting.

Great tour of Normandy with Sam
We had a wonderful experience with Sam as our guide through Normandy. He provided a comprehensive history of the events leading up to WWII and D-Day while on the bus trip from Paris. All of the stops were well timed in terms of having an ample opportunity to explore each site on our own and have time for an overview and Q&A. The American Cemetery, Omaha Beach and Pont Nuer were the highlights, and the lunch and cider tasting were nice breaks. We would highly recommend Sam as a guide.

Wonderful, must see tour!
Great tour with a wonderful guide who provided lots of background information on not only Winston Churchill but also a lot of other London History and iconic landmarks. The war rooms are a must see with a great self guided audio tour and a visit into the Winston Churchill museum. Our tour guide Lee was fantastic and definitely made the tour amazing!

Didn't work for us, sadly.
This is a difficult review to write. The Louvre is filled with thousands and thousands of unimaginably valuable artefacts. We ended up seeing just about 15. I would so much rather have spent a couple of minutes at a hundred exhibits rather than 20 minutes each at 10. The intricacies of abstract Greek mythology, the laying of the brick walls, "how her cloak falls" - well, yeah, this all should take a couple of sentences, and no more. I know this is the Louvre, and one is never going to see it all, and it's foolish to expect that - but to leave so much behind! It's criminal - I felt very shortchanged. The guide was good for what she did cover, and the meeting place was convenient. The skip the line was really worth it, and the earphones were useful. Keep in mind - this is a very superficial tour, meant to cater to a certain type of tourist from probably a certain country. If you are keen to just "hit the greatest hits" so that you can tick them off your bucket list, get that instagram photo, then go for it - there's nothing fundamentally wrong with that approach. It didn't work for us, though we stuck with it till the end. And several others who left the tour midway and preferred to go on their own. We will have to do the Louvre again (maybe that's a plus!), maybe with the museum audio guide.

Loved Beefeater
Doing the tour with a knowledgeable Beefeater was well done and very informative. Highly recommend. It made the Tower of London a better experience.
