My wife, my kid, and I enjoyed the one-day trip to Pompei and Positano from Rome. Enrica the tourist guide and Rommel the bus driver were very kind and supported us with our autistic kid all the time. It is well organized and enjoyed the trip from the minute one. I recommend it 100%.

Nice visit of Murano and Burano. Amount of free time was enough. Serena is a great guide and she gave us a lot of information about the 2 islands and Venice in general.

Amazing experience
This was a very well organized tour by the company. The person was at the appointed location and took us to the train and ensured we all sat and then escorted us to the studio where we had a vip guided tour. You must do the tour as there are so many details you miss and then they let you back inside after the tour is done to explore the place on your own. Really would recommend this

Doing the tour with a knowledgeable Beefeater was well done and very informative. Highly recommend. It made the Tower of London a better experience.

Top Notch
Straight to front of the line with a full sit down breakfast with cappuccino to start. The guide was extremely knowledgeable on the history and talked with headsets the entire time which truly made the tour so much more interesting.

Really interesting tour with a very knowledgeable guide
We visited in early December 2024 and had Silvia as our guide. She was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, experience as an archiologist meaning she had first hand details of finding roman artifacts, always happy to answer questions. She provided fabulous stories and background throughout the tour. We skipped the line at the Colosseum, with great access to the whole building and loads of interesting stories provided, backed by pictures to illustrate how the gladiators would have looked and what animals they would have fought. We moved to Palatine hill to see the ancient palace ruins, then down into the forum to experience the temples and majesty of the Roman ruins. This tour was great and we loved being with Sylvia; we'd highly recommend her and City Wonders for tours next time you are visiting Rome.

Didn't work for us, sadly.
This is a difficult review to write. The Louvre is filled with thousands and thousands of unimaginably valuable artefacts. We ended up seeing just about 15. I would so much rather have spent a couple of minutes at a hundred exhibits rather than 20 minutes each at 10. The intricacies of abstract Greek mythology, the laying of the brick walls, "how her cloak falls" - well, yeah, this all should take a couple of sentences, and no more. I know this is the Louvre, and one is never going to see it all, and it's foolish to expect that - but to leave so much behind! It's criminal - I felt very shortchanged. The guide was good for what she did cover, and the meeting place was convenient. The skip the line was really worth it, and the earphones were useful. Keep in mind - this is a very superficial tour, meant to cater to a certain type of tourist from probably a certain country. If you are keen to just "hit the greatest hits" so that you can tick them off your bucket list, get that instagram photo, then go for it - there's nothing fundamentally wrong with that approach. It didn't work for us, though we stuck with it till the end. And several others who left the tour midway and preferred to go on their own. We will have to do the Louvre again (maybe that's a plus!), maybe with the museum audio guide.

Great value
Great value for the cost. It’s a lengthy trip to Tuscany from Rome. Not to mention the guide and the (very tasty) meal.

Great tour of Normandy with Sam
We had a wonderful experience with Sam as our guide through Normandy. He provided a comprehensive history of the events leading up to WWII and D-Day while on the bus trip from Paris. All of the stops were well timed in terms of having an ample opportunity to explore each site on our own and have time for an overview and Q&A. The American Cemetery, Omaha Beach and Pont Nuer were the highlights, and the lunch and cider tasting were nice breaks. We would highly recommend Sam as a guide.
