Good tour but could be great

We chose this tour after reading the positive reviews of the tour guides and the fact that this took care of the travel aspect. The positive- the tour guides were both pleasant and friendly. They answered questions and helped us get on and off trains and facilitated the journey. However, I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed in the knowledge aspect of the tour. Firstly, one of the tour guides, Kiara, was in training and Danny was the trainer but based on the lack of information shared by both, I couldn’t distinguish between who was in training because neither seemed to know that much about cinque terre, Pisa or any where we went. Danny sounded pretty unsure of herself when speaking on the bus, under confident, and not excited. At one of the towns in cinque terre, we walked past another tour group and I learned way more from just hearing the tour guide about the town than my own. I think that if you’re looking for a chaperone to take you to these places, this is a great tour but don’t expect to learn much from the tour guides. The other thing that’s not mentioned in the description is the amount of walking to the train station from the bus. This tour does not have authority to enter the city so you have to walk 20 minutes from bus to train station initially then at Pisa there’s more walking from the bus parking to the Pisa buildings. Overall, pleasant tour guides but not informative and not were chaperoned well. I recommend more excitement from this he tour guides and genuine interest in sharing information.

The guide disappeared even though I was doing my best to follow. Do not recommend. Mind you going around on my own was a far better experience.

We enjoyed this tour. She was very informative and we learned a lot. The only slightly negative thing I'd say, it did feel rushed at times but that's being knit picky. Go on this tour!

The tour seemed very rushed, we didn’t have time to stop and appreciate the beautiful architecture and ruins.

We had a fantastic time on this tour! Ornella was brilliant. She has a lovely speaking voice and gave us interesting information throughout the tour but didn’t speak too much which we appreciated. The bus was comfortable and the bus driver was great and we felt really safe. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the beautiful Siena and San Gimignano from Florence!

Tour is long and very insightful, went to all the most important statutes and paintings, which helped as the museum is massive and would take whole day to do. Christina was very good guide and very knowledgeable we loved the tour
