Loved the museums and the instructors were friendly (Onome and ash) very kind and talked alot about old history was cool
Very friendly, museums were wonderful loved seeing the past artifacts of world war 2 learned new things about the past.

Detailed information, but lack of care. Rushed tour.
Tour guide was very friendly. And told us a lot of information, however the tour guide left us at the first part of the tour. Never telling us a time to meet. Never tell us they were leaving. I would to book somewhere else. The first part of the tour was amazing, but lacking care of the people on the tour.

London changing of the guards
Great tour. Get many opportunities to take photos and see the guards. Good detailed instructions for directions to the meeting spot.

Wonderful, Knowledgeable Guide
Anna, our guide was great and very, detailed. So big, so much appreciated the guidance. It was amazingly huge and don’t think I could have navigated with such understanding on my own.

This small group tour...
This small group tour really helped me get the most out of my visit to the Louvre. It is such a big museum and without the expertise (and passion) of the guide, Hamish, I would have been overwhelmed and wouldn’t have seen or enjoyed as much of the museum.

Misleading
Very misleading, there is no tour. Sav money and purchase your ticket+skip the line ticket elsewhere. There is an audio tour for 8€ at entrance.

The tour was awesome and our tour guide Amy was incredible! Funny, knowledgeable and charismatic. She did an amazing job showing us the Vatican where we had a chance to learn so much about it. Bravo and thank you

Fabulous tour!
The tour was excellent, the 3 hours flew by! Very well organised. Our guide was Barbara, she was very knowledgeable and was very happy to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Could be a lot better organised!
I believe the tour can be improved. There was a mad rush and massive queue to get into St Peter's. Apparently students were given priority for entrance. Firstly we had paid a lot of money on this tour so the church should overcome the entrance issue by ensuring that there are two entrances to avoid the unnecessary mad rush queue. Secondly, this is a health and accident hazard waiting to happen.

Great tour
We did not need our passport, although everyone tells you that you do, really informative guide Ocsana who was lovely and knew her art, Sistine Chapel was amazing. There are plenty of toilets available on the tour.. a little on the expensive side but as we're unlikely to return I felt it was worth it.

Great day!
Onome and Ash were great! Plenty of bathroom stops. Long day that started in a sketchy area. May want to reconsider the pick up spot. Did not feel safe. 2 drunk people harassed the group. Plenty of time at all stops. Lots of information provided. 3 options at lunch to choose from. Food was meh, but it did the job. The bus was nice and clean with a/c. I would do this tour again.

Incredible trip
My family enjoyed the day learning about the history of Pompeii and seeing the seaside town of Positano. Prepare for a long day, but it’s a wonderful trip. Our tour guide Barbara was great. She was very engaging and cheerful. When we arrived at Pompeii, we linked up with our guide of the ruins. Lilia, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the archaeological site. Finally, the bus was ok. However, our driver was great! Unfortunately, I can’t recall his name.

Our guide David from City Wonders was amazing and knew his knowledge. He remembered all of us and we were GA family and he made sure the whole group was together at all times. 5 stars to David. Totally recommend during a tour with him .

We saw the King!!!
My 12 yo daughter and I really liked our tour guide, Paul. He was really funny and very informative, which kept us entertained throughout the tour! We never felt rushed, got great photos and views, and even got to see the King!!!

The Making of Harry Potter
Terrific fun and an informative visit! Our guide to the studios was helpful and gave us all the information we needed to navigate our way back home at the end. We enjoyed having the flexibility to stay as long as we liked after our guided tour. And our tour guide was fantastic! If you are interested in things, Harry Potter, or how movies are made, this trip is for you.

Definitely worth it
I lived in London for 2 years and had seen the changing of the guard before but booking this tour and getting all the detailed history and background behind everything was completely worth it…we even got to see the King! Paul was a great guide, recommend this!

Louvre tour

Normandy Beaches
Normandy Beaches. Very powerful visit. Ash and Onome were excellent tour guides. Day is long so be prepared for over thirteen hours.

Great value for breathtaking views and a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I visited Rome with my senior parents in April 2025 but wanted a daytrip to break up the days of our trip. Luckily I came across this tour with City Wonders to the Tuscan countryside, it was one of the highlights of our vacation! We promptly met at Pza del Popolo at 730 where many other tour groups gather near the fountain and after checking in was assigned Laura as our tour leader. She was knowledgeable, well spoken in English, and accommodating for my parents whom have walking difficulties - we ended up splitting from the tour group at Montepulciano due to the hilly walk thru the city, and instead spent extra time at our nearby lunch stop to enjoy the views of Tuscany. Then we moved on to Pienza which was a truly special memory, don’t miss out on peeking down alleys off the mainstreet, we found a breathtaking view of the valley below Pienza. We arrived back at Rome promptly at the estimated 7pm end time. Overall would recommend this day trip for their organization and value, just be prepared for a 30min uphill/downhill walk at the first stop. Thank you City Wonders!
