Tour
We missed the Basilica because of Good Friday services, which was disappointing. Our guide did give us extra time in the other museums and grounds.

Pompeii and Amalfi coast day trip
Eduardo was a fantastic host. Both entertaining and full of local and historical knowledge. He was entertaining and caring and kept us informed of events, like the traffic, which was out of his control. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Thank you.

Bad family Vatican trip. 😡😈👿
My family bought tickets and had to line up for 1 hour. By the time we got in we noticed that tones of people pushing in. The people who didn't buy tickets got in before we did ( we had tickets ). When got in we were pushed forward,people getting separated from their familys (security). We were directed by the staff and we had to walk really slowly behind the tours whom Just Stand blocking everyone from going past. We walked (standing) for 3 hours and then we reached the sixth chapel. Where security told you off for taking photos, everyone still did. The security also told you to move forward even though they were no room some staff stood in the door ways making it slower. I think they should make it so you don't have to walk around the Vatican and you can just go straight into the sixth chapel. I wouldn't go back.

Great experience, maybe don't take the audio, see with your eyes, take your time
The staff were friendly and helpful, the meeting spot was easy to find. No problems with the tickets, all great. We took the audioguide, it's via an app. It's very informative but honestly it's just as nice to look at everything and read the panels without the history lesson in the background. We used it to educate ourselves after the visit(that's the perk of the app). Give yourself time, there is so much to soak in :). We started at 12h15 at the colloseum and finished at 17h30 at the forum.

Our tour guide Angela Anthony was awesome. She got us in quickly and informed us well about the architecture and history behind the Eifel tower!!!

It was a nice experience....
It was a nice experience. The guide provided information while on the bus and short intro info before heading into each castle. Once in the castle, it is self-guided. The place recommended for lunch was good and service was very quick which allowed for about 30 mins to explore Blois before heading back on the bus.

Knowledgeable and Entertaining
John was very knowledgeable and entertaining and made the experience genuine. The food stops were the best in Paris. I would do this again.

Worst Experience Ever
I'm going to start off by saying that I have traveled over 2 million miles in my lifetime. I have been traveled to 5 continents and over 40 countries. I have traveled alone and in groups. I have traveled by plane, train, ship, bus, auto, tuk tuk, etc. I have visited many famous sites, met interesting people, learned different cultures, and tasted a variety of foods. I say all of this to give a bit of background on my experience in traveling. This was my second trip to Paris and I was really looking forward to our newest adventure. We scheduled a private tour of the Louvre on our first day in Paris. The instructions started by stating that we would not meet at the Louvre. Instead we were instructed to go to the Arc de Triomphe. Time was tight but we arrived at the meeting point with over 30 minutes to spare. I didn't see many tour guides so I contacted City Wonders. On the first call, I explained where I was and was told that I was early. The rep told me to wait there and call back in 10 minutes if the guide had not arrived. Ten minutes goes by and I make a second call. During that time, I'm put on hold while the rep tries to contact the guide. After being on hold for around 10 minutes, I was told the guide was running 4-5 minutes late but would be there soon. They would be wearing blue. In the meantime, they sent me a link to the meeting point but the link was invalid. We continued to wait. After another 10 minutes or so, I called again. I was put on hold for another 10 minutes while they tried to contact the guide. After all of this, they determined that we were at the wrong meeting point. But, it gets worse. Now, our entry time to the Louvre had expired and we would not be able to get in that day. I was also told that it would not be possible to reschedule another tour during our next 3 days in Paris. I was disappointed and the rep didn't really offer any alternatives. She just said if we had a complaint, to get on their web site to plead our case. The unfortunate part of all of this is that we had time to get to the right meeting point if the first rep had identified the issue on the first call. Later that day, we contacted City Wonders via their web site. They responded via email and told me that the instructions were clear and they always recommend that you check the map before leaving for the meeting point. They went on to say "Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated & missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled". Wow, I can honestly say that this was, by far, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I later spoke to our travel agent and she said that she had been getting a lot of complaints about City Wonders tours recently and would start booking with other tours. Bottom line - I do not recommend City Wonders!

A Must Do Tour!
I have been wanting to visit Normandy for years, and this was the perfect way to do it. It’s a long day, but they couldn’t have made it easier. The guides are very knowledgeable, kind, and thorough with their explanations. I would highly recommend this tour to others!

we saw many masterpieces in a very short time. Afterward, she told us how to see the museum when we were done with the tour. Spent all day at the Louve.

Recommended trip!
Sylvia and Onome were incredibly helpful throughout our trip to Mont Saint-Michel. They were friendly, informative, and made us feel very welcome. The schedule was well-organized and reasonable—not too rushed, and with enough time to enjoy the area. As tourists from a Southeast Asian country with little experience in this region, we found this tour to be the best option. Highly recommended!

Many visitors, you need to move very fast so you don't have sufficient time to admire those great paintings.

Long long tour, difficult to hear guide, too much detailed explanation at every station, difficult because of so many stairs. Extremely crowded - shoulder to shoulder. Viator not responsible for that. Basilica not open as advertised on ticket. Guide tried her best to keep us toogether.

Worst experience of our Rome Trip
Terrible experience, not worth the money at all! It took us 45 minutes in line to get into the building (and this was a skip the line tour) and another 30 minutes to actually enter the exhibit area. It was insanely crowded, with wall to wall tour groups. We spent almost $600 for our family of 4 to have a special tour that felt like a giant waste of time and money. We left the tour 1 hour 15 minutes in and did our own self-guided tour which was much more enjoyable.

Ideal day trip
All I can say is wow! This tour was exceptional with a tour of Pompei and a trip down the scenic Amalfi coast to the picturesque town of Positano. John was our guide and provided excellent information and guidance on the way.
