Beautiful beaches
A good chance to see the beautiful beaches in Italy in one day. The trip was well organized by the guide Paola.

DOGE & St Peter, the rush Tour
This was not a fully guided tour. We felt rush. An another tourist needed to used bathroom and your guide said: oh can you hold for another 30 minutes. It was like running a marathon. I asked to get a ticket to get back in doge to gift shops. Not possible. St Peter basilica was not fully guided. Since I paid extra to go to rooftop. Horrible experiences.

Barbara and Antonio made a great experience for us! Highly recommend. Very fun and helpful with making selections while we were out and about. A great excursion to book!

Not recommended
This tour started well, but ended prematurely for us. We entered the Vatican Museum is all a quick walk to the rooms, no time to enjoy anything for more than a few seconds. Everybody had to walk fast to keep up with the tour guide. Then after entering the basilica, which is so crowded with hundreds of people we exited it quickly and the guide and the rest of the group were gone. We were left without seen the St Peter's Basilica and the rest of the tour. I do not recommend this tour, I believe the name of the tour company was City [something]. We wasted our time and money, after flying to 9 hours to Rome to deal with this horrible end to a tour.

Worse experience ever!
Worse company ever! We had book a trip to the coloseum a few weeks before and planned our Rome trip around that they confirmed the booking. Which should have meant everything was good and ready to go! BUT, 2 days before we get a message that the experience was cancel. Why? because they did not even check if the Coloseum was open!!!!! How can you offer an experience without knowing if the place is open! Then, customer service was so awful, no compasion, no understanding and no caring. All we meet was a wall out F*ck y*u and not our problem.

Least pleasant tour in Rome
Crowds, even off season and first thing in the morning were abysmal. The meeting point was not specific so we wasted thirty minutes of time and energy. Why don’t tours drop a pin providing exact location? No excuse in this day and age. Ever heard of What Three Words? Then the Italian guides English was hard to understand through the poor quality single earpiece speakers. I have a hearing loss so could only glean a few words per sentence between accent and poor fidelity. Then when the crowds separate the group the signal breaks up after 10 meters distance in crowds. We turned our headsets in half way thru the tour and left. Interesting to have been in the structure but history is better portrayed thru print materials. Would not recommend.

Très déçu, du rapide et vite dehors. Nous avions payé l’accès à la basilique et nous ne l’avons pas vu…
Nous avons réservé Vivicos international traveller’s par l’intermédiaire de Get Your Guide. Il était prévu la visite du musée , de la chapelle sixtine et de la basilique . Nous avons démarré la visite à 10h45 au lieu de 10h. Nous avons terminé la chapelle sixtine à 12h. Languide nous indique que nous ne pouvons pas aller à la basilique car l’accès est fermé à 12h30 . Nous lui indiquons que nous souhaitons tout même y aller. Elle ne cherche pas à nous indiquer le chemin et nous accompagne à la sortie directement…. J’ai insisté mais elle regarde ailleurs et me répond tout juste… Je suis un habitué de GyG mais là…. Un honte…

Great cemetery tour dissappointed we didn't go to Oscar wilde's grave though there is a free map so you can see on your own but the guide had many interesting stories

Day Trip to Mont St Michel
Deepal & Co are great organisers giving crystal instructions, dos and don’ts making the trip pleasantly on time & keeping the group entertained with French history One of the bus drivers was however disappointingly telling the group that we got on the wrong bus while i specifically too a photo of the bus registration no. plate and knowing that I got on the correct bus, once at a pit stop and another time at the pick up point at Mont St Michel

Incredible Location.
Incredible location with really good guides. Lawrence and Sylvia were very knowledgeable and friendly. The stops were full of people so they were understanding and gave us a bit more time. The bus was one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ridden in tours like this. The duration of the trip was also perfect in my opinion, just enough to do the whole thing and a bit of shopping.

History lesson learned.
Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a great history lesson. It was Holy Thursday so we were not able to enter the Duomo in the beginning of the tour because of mass. Seeing the Last Supper was spectacular. After the tour should have ended, she graciously got us back to the Duomo and we were granted skip the line entry.Having heard her fantastic lesson earlier, we were able to just go in and soak up the beauty of this beautiful house of God.

Beautiful, beautiful trip to the coast
Short story - it’s a very long time on a bus to see some once-in-a-lifetime places. You will spend 7 hours on a bus and maybe 4 hours exploring. But what places to explore. If you have one day in Rome for a very long day for a side trip, it’s worth it. Also, bring your flexibility and patience. The folks at CityTours cannot control the weather and the ferries. When we were halfway to Sorrento, the guide learned the ferries were not running. Thanks to the flexibility of our guide and the folks back in Rome, our itinerary was changed on the fly to include Sorrento and Positano. Sure, we didn’t get to see Amalfi. But not the fault of the tour. Just know that your itinerary will not be guaranteed. The bus was comfortable (but no bathroom on board - a stop in each direction for a bathroom break). The guides gave a good balance of information on the bus ride without constant chattering. And the drive down Highway A1 was beautiful with mountains and hills on both sides. So know it will be a long time on a bus. Know you might not get the tour you planned but that the tour company will do everything they can to give you a great day. And know that it’s worth it if you have a day free to see some jaw dropping beauty that postcards won’t do justice.

Very informative
Very detailed and informative! Our guide was wonderful at explaining everything we saw. We were able to skip the huge lines and get easy access to the Sistine chapel. It is a lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes.

Não recomendo esse tour para quem tem crianças em carrinho de bebê. A guia não orientou corretamente sobre as questões de acessibilidade, eu realmente acredito que ela não sabia ou simplesmente optou por não falar, pois éramos os únicos com bebê. Tivemos que desistir no meio do tour por falta de atenção e cuidado dela. Após a desistência fizemos o restante do percurso sozinhos e conseguimos utilizar elevadores e passagens acessíveis. Um absurdo você pagar o dobro por um serviço ruim. NÃO COMPREM.

Great tour if you only want to spend an hour at an incredible castle, with a lot of time on the road
This tour visited two beautiful castles, but unfortunately the visits were completely rushed. 1 hour to visit Chenonceaux, and one hour to visit Chambord. It was hard to see much in 1 hour, and literally had me running back to the bus after 45 minutes. Long, 3-hour cramped bus ride back to Paris. We had to pay for our own lunch, and they took us to a hamburger restaurant. Yuck. This was a 13-hour day, with most of it spent on the bus. Castles were beautiful, but the time we were able to spend at them was only two hours out of the 13-hour day.

Good one day trip Paris to Mont St Michel
Lawrence and Sylvie were very nice and helpful guides. Lots of stories and history shared on the road. Coach was comfortable.
