Roman colosseum, palatine hill and forum.
Divina was an excellent guide. It was obvious that she is very knowledgeable and more importantly loves her city and the job. Ages on the tour ranged from young children to senior adults. She was sensitive to the children n describing the violent customs of early Rome. She made it interesting and entertaining.

Great tour! Our tour guide was amazing and so knowledgeable! Loved learning all the history. My only negative feedback would be the earpiece they give out (headphone) was not at all comfortable. It kept falling off my ear and I had to hold in place the whole time which was extremely annoying.

Lovely!
Entirely lovely experience from start to finish! Tour guide Chiara was very knowledgeable, had great historical facts and information, and was very personable. The wine tour was amazing with exceptional wines and lunch at a lovely family run winery/restaurant. Montepulciano and Pienza were straight out of a storybook. Views of Tuscany were breathtakingly beautiful! Loved it all!

Very Good Introduction to the Louvre
Very good short introduction to the major works at the Louve. We were able to see everything I wanted to see. Our guide was very knowledgeable and added tremendously to the context of what we were seeing. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful day and our Private guide Laura was excellent. Laura explained everything thoroughly and ensured all our questions were answered. My only issue was the crowds. People were packed into narrow hallways and especially Sistine Chapel the guards kept telling you to move no stop. It was not a pleasant experience. That had nothing to do with our guide, again Laura was great. St Peter’s ballistica was magnificent and breathtaking

Peaceful gem of history with a great guide
Alberto is a fantastic guide! Our family of 4 had the only two children in the entire group, so we were worried that it may be boring for them. Alberto was inclusive and humorous with our 11 and 14 year-olds, and they were receptive to his charming personality and depth of knowledge about the site. Our daughter (11) followed him closely and really listened. Ostia Antica is a little gem of Italian history that is so close to Rome, and yet so peaceful and not crowded. The setting is well preserved and full of descriptions and pictorial recreations of how it appeared thousands of years ago. This is a walking tour, and the paths and roads at the site are not smooth, so prepare accordingly. Overall it was still quite easy to traverse. We continued on to modern Ostia just 10 minutes down the train line, and strolled the beach, had dinner at one of the many restaurants there, and stopped for gelato all within 15 minutes walk of the Ostia Centro station. Great day to experience on our family trip to Europe. Thank you, Alberto!

Doge’s Palace/ St Mark’s with Rita
Rita was awesome! She provided such a great tour, pointing out many hidden details and brining us into St Mark’s at just the right time to catch the lights on allowing us to see such a beautiful place. She is a gem, highly recommend her as a tour guide.

Wonderful experience
We really enjoyed our time at Giverny! The gardens and the water lily pond were amazing! We enjoyed all the wonderful photo ops! We also enjoyed the time seeing a small town in France!

Thumbs up on Normandy w lunch day trip
Terrific tour with MAJA! Excellent background notes and points of interest tips to make the most of the sites visited. Very knowledgeable, personable and fun! Normandy w lunch tour included well timed toilet /food breaks and a lunch which was pre-arranged with ease and worked out very well to keep everyone on time. Definitely a to-do when visiting Paris!

Lovely tour of islands near Venice
Raquelle was a lovely guide, very knowledgeable and quite funny! The glassblowing demonstration in Murano was very interesting and we got to tour the gallery of a local glass manufacturer. You were also able to walk around Murano if the gallery was not of interest. In Burano, the lace-making demonstration was much quicker, leaving us with a lot of free time to explore the island. Note that if you are doing the tour such the free time in Burano corresponds with a meal time (in our case lunch), that will cut into your time to tour the island. We did have plenty of time to get a nice lunch in, however.
