⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Truly Unforgettable — Worth Every Minute
The Vatican Museums exceeded my expectations in every way. The collections are vast and well-curated, and our guide struck the perfect balance between informative and engaging without overwhelming us with information. The Sistine Chapel alone is worth the visit. Photos simply don't capture what it feels like to stand in that space and look up at Michelangelo's ceiling in person. It's one of those rare moments where you understand exactly why something is considered a masterpiece. A couple of practical tips: book tickets ahead of time to skip the lines, and wear comfortable shoes — there's a lot of ground to cover. Plan to spend a full half-day at minimum. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome. This one lives up to the hype.

We had the details changed twice before arriving to Milan. The time was changed (from am to pm) and the location was changed. Unfortunately nothing was consistent. The details on Viator differed from the company "City Wonders". The agent encouraged me to download their app "City wonders" which differed from the email they sent me. I booked the tour despite other complaints that the pre tour organisation was very poor so I was prepared for confusion but this was next level. They sent me an email changing the time and location of the tour start. This was reasonable but they then sent me a Whatsapp encouraging me to download their app - which I did. On the day we were super early but could not find anyone so checked the app. The app gave the old location even though that was changed over a month ago. I assumed the location had changed (again) so we grabbed a taxi to the (old) location. When I finally go in touch with someone from the company they confirmed that the location had not changed (despite the app being wrong) so we had to jump in a cab and head to the new location. We were told they would not give us the phone number of the guide and they could not guarantee the tour would wait for us - even though it was a half day tour. DO NOT BOOK with this company as they are incompetent - unless you like unnecessary stress! The only redeeming feature was the tour guide who was lovely.

Tour was definitely was worth it. We would have missed a lot of the details behind the creation of the Sagrada Família. The guide gave us headphones which made it easy to hear everything she said. It was expensive but I’m happy we did it.

Amalfi Coast Excursion
My friend Kevin and I had a fantastic day trip to the Amalfi Coast, and all the credit must go to Patrizia! She was a fabulous host and guide on this excursion. She brought the experience to life in a big way. She was so funny, so knowledgeable, had the most amazing personality, and even paid for us to use the rest room when we'd run out of Euros to pay for it ourselves! She really went above and beyond to make the trip that extra bit special and we could not have asked for a better person to lead us on this amazing day out! 5 out of 5 stars for Patrizia and we would book again in a heartbeat if we knew she was going to be our tour guide again!

Superbe journée !
Quelle journée ! On en a eu plein les yeux ! Départ de rome ,avec notre guide Sarah! Le bus était tres confortable, chauffeur de qualité ! Visite de pompei avec un guide de la place , cest vraiment intéressant ! Dîner a pompei st ensuite direction cote amalfitaine avec notre guide . Petit arrêt a Sorento pour découvrir produit local (lemoncello) en attendant les navettes pour positano. Une vue a couper le souffle ! Le Vesuve ,cest impressionnant. Une journée que nous noublierons pas! On a eu droit a tout un service du début a la fin, et on a ete chanceux car Sarah parlait aussi français, donc mon conjoint a pu discuter un peu avec elle. C'est une grosse journée, et quand même éprouvant sur la côte amalfitaine...prévoir des collations pour la route , meme si on fait des arrêts en route.et des gravol pour le mal des transports,parce que la route sur la cote...ouffff ! Je conseille fortement ! Ca valait amplement le prix!!!!!

Bascilica dissappointment
We were a semi private tour which cost approx $200/ person US dollars for Vatican museum, Sistine chapel and St.Peter’s Bascilica. We were told only at the start of the tour, not when we booked or after we booked that St.Peters is closed on Wednesdays because the Pope is using the church. It would be closed til the afternoon. We went at noon, the Police/guard said come back at 2pm. We ate a lunch we didn’t need to kill time, went back at 1pm to get an early spot in line and there were hours and hours worth of people in line. We went up to the police/ guard with our tour paper, with scanning codes, no good. The tour organizers need to work with the Vatican to allow paid touring people priority entrance on Wednesdays. We will not be spending another $30 rd trip taxi to do The Bascilica, disappointing for the price. A little respect would be good.

Good option for guided tours
First, City Wonders was excellent at communication, so I was not confused as to where we were meeting and at what time. I really appreciated that all my transportation and guides were taken care of in one place too. Fist guide: Martha was our tour guide at Versailles, and she was amazing. She kept the tour moving and was engaging and had interesting information to share. Her English was clear as well- so thankful for multi-lingual guides. If I could, I’d request her for a tour in the future. Second guide: Pablo guided our Monet tour and was friendly and informative about Monet, his success and his home. Also, I really appreciated his simple French language tips he shared. So practical and helpful for someone who is at least trying to speak some French while here. (Like me!) The actual tour: The drawback with the full day tour was that it was a bit tiring. I’m 44 years old, and was dragging by the time our time at Versailles was done and it was time to head to Giverny. I would have preferred less time in the Versailles gardens after the guided tour. (Meeting time was 8:30, 30 mins-ish drive to Versailles, then after the actual tour, we had 3 hours to wander the musical gardens and beyond before meeting up to leave for Giverny.) I was done wandering well before that time, even with grabbing lunch. Giverny was lovely, though very crowded, and I think the time there could have been a little shorter too since shops started closing at 6, but we weren’t supposed to leave until 6:30. Overall, a good trip, just could have been shorter.

Fabulous Tour
We had a wonderful day visiting Monet Garden in Giverny and Versailles. We were short on time so we were fortunate to book this trip before it sold out and as a result we didn’t have to forgo one of these beautiful tours. We flew in the day before and I thought the trip would be easier with some jet lag and it was. Monets garden was lovely as was the village. Versailles was spectacular. We had super friendly and knowledgable tour guides. I’m so happy we booked this tour

Martha and Juan Pablo are the best!!
Martha was a great tour guide at Versailles. Guided tour guide through the palace of Versailles hitting all the high points. Followed by great instruction and recommendations for the garden (even though you do it alone). 10/10 recommend as we learned a lot and had a great time. Juan Pablo was tour guide for monet garden. Truly a life changing experience seeing the gardens and ponds. While Juan Pablo was not guiding us thru the actual monet house and gardens, he gave us great advice on how to most effectively tackle the grounds. He also gave great commentary to help us better understand the life of Claude Monet. Would recommend as it takes the ease out of arranging travel and everything worked smoothly. Had 5 hours at Versailles and 2.5 hours at Monets house, which was plenty for both. Bus ride was smooth and even had time for a nap between stops as this makes for a very long and busy day. Returned to Paris around 1945. 10/10 recommend!

Heel goede gids!
We hebben genoten van deze drie uur durende rondleiding doorheen het Colosseum en het Forum Romanum. Onze gids, Fabio, was uitermate actief en enthousiast om alles uit te leggen aan de groep van 10 deelnemers. Zijn humor en zijn kennis werden echt gewaardeerd. En ook zijn persoonlijke aanpak, waarbij hij iedereen met de naam aansprak. Afspraakplaats was makkelijk te vinden. De hele rondleiding gebeurde op een correct tempo met ook de nodige tijd voor foto's of om vragen te stellen. Blij dat we voor deze organisatie gekozen hadden.

What an opportunity to get a history lesson in Ancient Rome from an actual university anthropologist- our tour guide- made the history come to life asking us to use our imaginations and think about the colosseum and the lives of those who attended and died all in the name of entertainment and sport- also debunking some Hollywood interpretations! Great credit to our tour guide who navigated a thunder and lightning storm while we were there and still led us to the Roman Forum and palantine Hill- explaining the digs of the past century. Made the experience that much better for all of us! Thank you

Kentucky takes on Normandy
We have had such an amazing time! This is our second time visiting Normandy and I have nothing but high praises for Sam our Tour Guide.He was so knowledgeable, accommodating, and very entertaining! We would definitely take another tour with him. My parents went with us and we were to visit all the sites where my grandfather flew over on D-Day and that was amazing!

Best trip in Rome
Great trip and great guides- Marisa and Enzo. Lovely surprise with Limoncello factory. I definetely recommend City Wonders! My only complain is regarding Vesuvio restaurant recomended after Pompei visit. Server was acting like we were charity not paying customers and pizza Margherita was cold and tasted like bread with tomato so failed to see why it was recommended. I will search for them also to write a personal review as the waitress was having a thunder face when serving me- I dont know about the rest of the customers.

Our small group driver, Decio, was skilled, patient, fun, and totally accommodating for the needs of our group of 6 that ranged in age from 18-70. Decio went above and beyond in his thoughtful service for the people in his care, he made it a more wonderful day. Grazie!
