Great tour and guide.
What a fabulous tour. The time went buy so quickly. Giorgio kept a great pace and was really easy to follow along with and understand. He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Throughout the tour he made a point of getting to know everyone in the group while we walked along, which was such a lovely touch, especially since it was a large group.

Murano/burano trip
Our trip was exactly as planned. We took a nice boat to the islands and learned a lot! Our guide was knowledgeable and fun! Annchiarra(sp) was so nice and joyful! It’s exactly what we were looking for. The o Lu thing I can recommend is if you are looking to buy glass go outside the walls and look around- I would say it’s cheaper. Otherwise everything was great and worthwhile!

Best tour ever!
This was my favourite City Wonders tour while I was in Rome. Nicola was the most attentive, knowledgeable, educational, respectful and enjoyable guide. The stories he shared went far beyond the works of art and you could tell the passion he had for what he does. Loved the smaller size of this group, really made the tour far more personal.

Tour was very informative and used the time efficiently. Our guide gave great insight as to how people of the period lived. Would definitely recommend.

Don’t trust Viator with your money!!
Don’t trust this company. Their system had a bug and booked the trip for the day I was making the transaction instead of the date I was searching for travel. Even though I contacted them within 1 minute of the booking they have not refunded my money NOR move the reservation to the correct. Worse yet when I entered my initial review Viator responded stating to contact them “so they could have the opportunity to make this right”. Yes I contacted them again and AGAIN they have denied a refund and refused to call me back!! Yet they put a statement in a public forum to make you all think they are resolving but they haven’t. Don’t trust this company.

Great tour
Very informative very knowledgeable guide (Valero Chini). Be prepared to do a lot of walking and also lots of stairs.

Fantastic and Insightful tour
Highly recommend this tour. Max our tour guide spoke clearly, with clear instructions and was able to get us close to the artefacts and paintings. He shared great insights and information that you normally you won’t get through standard audio. This tour was able to get us in quickly. For an overview and introduction to some of the exhibitions, highly recommend Max and this tour. After the tour you can decide to continue to explore or leave- it is up to you.

A beautiful tour turned sour.
This was total chaos! The tour boats were oversold due to other ferry boats being full and being a very busy Sunday. We were at the pick up spots on time but due to large crowds missed the return boat to Almalfie. The tour guide left on the 15:30 boat and at least 10 people didn’t make it. We will miss visiting the second city, Amalfie. The 15 hour tour was 6 hours of bus time, 3 1/2 hours of boat cruising, 45 min in a beautiful city and 4 1/2 hours of standing in line. To add to the unpleasantness of the trip, the crew on the boats were rude and nasty when asked simple questions(they were overwhelmed). I hope to hear from Viator or City Wonders as to how you can refund my money.

has sarah as our guide and she was amazing. very knowledgeable and spent just the right amount of time at each area. I learned quite a bit about michalengelo. was very impressed by her knowledge of his works and also how to navigate the rooms through the crowds without any issues keeping the group together.

You Should Reconsider
This tour felt extremely chaotic, rushed and frustrating. In hindsight, I could have navigated this myself and had far less stress and annoyance. The guide was lovely.

Must see
This was a spectacular tour which we greatly enjoyed learning the history of the sites we visited. Flavio was our bus guide; he was well versed in the history of Italy and a very delightful young man. Sorrento is beautiful and the Limoncello tour was definitely a highlight. 10/10 would recommend.

Monet's half day
Angela and Michelle were great! Kept us on time and informed about what was going on/where to be. Despite the rain they brought the vibes and we had a lovely visit!

Our tour guide Addie was wonderful - very knowledgeable and engaging. We loved her story telling of each painting/sculpture. Our kids (11 and 8) also thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Definitely recommend! ~NJ friends

Not worth it
We left the tour after 45 minutes as the guide did not keep the group together and communicated very poorly. Complained directly to City Wonders and was brushed off. Disappointing as there are other negative reviews referencing this tour guide.
