The Absolute Worst
Worst tour company we have ever experienced. The instructions on where to meet were unclear, there was no reliable way to contact anyone on the ground, and we spent more time trying to locate the tour guide than actually enjoying the experience. For context, we were running about five minutes late due to London traffic. We called ahead, were told it was “no problem,” and were given updated instructions on where to meet the guide. We followed those instructions — no one was there. We reached out again and were told the guide was at the location. When we asked them to call the guide to confirm, since clearly no one was there, we were told they could not reach them. That is simply unacceptable. It is 2026, and a tour company cannot contact its own guide? We were sent back and forth for over 40 minutes and never found anyone. The office clearly had no communication with the guide, yet continued directing us in circles rather than taking accountability. Save your money and your sanity. On a positive note, we ended up booking with The English Bus (tour guide: Cara), and the experience was excellent. Clear instructions, seamless coordination, and exactly how a tour should be run — no chasing, no confusion, just a well-executed day.

Great option for Jewel lovers!
This was a great option for beating the crowd! Only about 100 people got in at this time and we were the only ones who got to witness the opening ceremony of unlocking the gates. Then, we got to go directly into the Crown Jewels exhibit, which was my entire goal, with so few people in the exhibit area, it was very easy to view and study the items on display. Otherwise, one would be simply drifting by them on the people mover, which does not allow a student of historical gems like myself time to really see them all closely. By the time we were leaving, people were queuing up by the hundreds, and were going to have a long wait and limited viewing time/options. I am SO glad we opted for this opportunity!

Not worth the price.
I don’t think this is worth the price. It was cool to get in early and see the changing of the guard, but spending $105 to do it when you could just get into the tower of London 15 minutes later for 37 pounds and explore yourself, which is what I ended up doing after we saw the changing of the guard, would have been a better thing to do. I don’t think I got $65 worth of value out of this.
