We had tour guide Francesca Gin and her knowledge of Venice and surrounding islands was amazing. We learnt so much about how Venice came to be. The glass blowing was incredible to watch - truly a skill that can only be passed from generation to generation. The island of Burano was the highlight of the trip for us and definitely would go back there for a whole day visit.

Great way to learn

Very educational and interesting. We learned a lot about the history of the guards and were able to see them up close. I enjoyed the tour guide who was well informed and who cared that we learn from and enjoyed the experience.

A couple hours is more than enough

I think we should have done a self tour of this. We got a little history about the tower. It was interesting to talk with Andy about his role as a Beefeater. He told some interesting stories about meeting important people who were invited to visit the royal family. Enjoyed some tea and scones at the little cafe.

Good Tour

Provides for a good understanding of the Towers history. Disappointed that our tour guide could not accompany us once inside the Tower. Even knowing this I would still book this tour. Once inside the Tower walls you are on your own to see and discover what you can. The opening ceremony is highly recommended in that it gets you into the Crown Jewels display well before the general public.

Our guide Nicole knew exactly where to take us to see up close the changing of the guard. She also provided lots of detailed information. Would highly recommend if you are unsure of logistics.

The Beefeater experience and information. The viewing of the Crown Jewels were slightly underwhelming. It was crowded and the expectations were display of more necklaces, septers, rings, etc

Viviana was wonderful in coordinating this trip! Super personal and communicative. She’s a gem! Our driver was also terrific. The only things I would change is that I could go without the 20 minute stops at Cassino to shorten the day but understand why it’s there. The Limencello tasting was sad and could be improved. Also, I know it’s not super common in Rome but hotel pickup and drop off option would be nice as we did this with a young child and it was just such a long day. Overall, well done.

Vivianna war ein sehr guter Guide, informativ und aufmerksam hat sie unsere Gruppe gut durch den ganzen Tag begleitet. Sie weiß viel und hat uns auch spezielle Tipps vor Ort gegeben. Der Fahrer Enrico ist gut gefahren. Die Tour hat dich sehr gelohnt da wir mehrere Orte besucht haben und auch das schöne Wetter auf der kleinen Fähre mitgespielt hat. So konnten wir Amalfi und Positano von ihrer besten Seite sehen.

Polecam każdemu tą wycieczke! Organizacja na najwyższym poziomie. Przewodniczka Monica dbała o nas aby każdy otrzymał w pociągu najlepsze miejsce i aby każda rodzina czy para mogła siedzieć razem. Z góry zaznaczam że nie jest to pociąg panoramiczny Bernina Express ale regionalny ( również czerwony) pociąg Rhätische Bahn. Pociąg ten jedzie to samą trasą co Bernina a jest tańszy i jest możliwość podróżowania przez calą trase z otwartym oknem czego nie doświadczycie jadąc Bernina Express. Polecam!
