The walls smell of history, and on a foggy day like that (later a monumental storm hit), it gains even more charm. It's curious: the less it tries to be something it's not, the more imposing it becomes. You don't need to believe Dracula slept here to stand still before its towers and feel tiny. The view from the top is breathtaking. And inside, if you know how to look beyond the sign and the souvenir with fake blood, you find something rare: authenticity.
