They should move to selling tickets per 15 minute time slot and limit the entries as you pay for a ticket only to wait in line 45 minutes to access the castle. Once past this the experience is great, albeit a little crowded. The castle has an interesting history which is well displayed and beautiful castle grounds.

Just DON'T go after 10:00!! When visiting the most touristic site of a country you know it's going to be crowded, but this was of epic proportion. There was realy nothing of interest inside besides the smell of different brands of purfume, sweat and mold from the furniture. I visited at 12:00 on a tuesday in July and the best thing about it a was the exit sign. Masstourism at its peak!! And the joke of it all is that Vlad or Dracul never lived here. The worst experience so far in this beautiful country.

The management of the Castle should not let so many people inside at once. The place was SO extremely crowded that at some point we were all stuck in a room near some stairs, almost suffocating with the heat and the immense quantity of people in such a tiny room. And more were coming. the place and the history are beautiful if you get the opportunity to actually be able to breathe and look at it.
