Bran Castle is absolutely stunning. Walking through the narrow stone staircases, hidden rooms, and the courtyard feels like stepping right into a movie set. The views of Transylvania from the top are unreal, and learning about Queen Marie and the modern royal family was honestly way more interesting than the legend stuff. Speaking of, just a heads-up for history nerds: Vlad the Impaler never lived here, nor was he imprisoned in the dungeon (that's a popular rumor—he was held in Hungary instead). Bram Stoker didn’t even visit Romania; he just picked a cool-looking castle from a picture book for his novel. Still, vampire hype aside, it’s 100% worth visiting for the real history and incredible architecture, so don't miss it!
