Unfortunately, our visit was rather disappointing nonetheless. Dogs are not allowed, which would be understandable in principle. However, we found it a shame that dogs weren't even permitted in the garden or on the castle grounds. This meant we had practically no opportunity to properly see the castle. Even from the outside, it's difficult to get a good view of the castle. Furthermore, renovation and construction work was taking place during our visit, and parts of the castle were covered in scaffolding and construction equipment. This made even taking a nice souvenir photo difficult. We came here specifically to visit and would have at least liked an accessible outdoor area or a good viewpoint. Therefore, I would currently only recommend a visit with reservations for visitors with dogs. (Original) Leider enttäuschend mit Hund Schloss Bran ist natürlich historisch sehr bekannt und gehört für viele zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rumänien. Leider war unser Besuch trotzdem eher enttäuschend. Hunde sind nicht erlaubt, was grundsätzlich noch verständlich wäre. Schade fanden wir aber, dass man mit Hund nicht einmal in den Garten bzw. auf das Schlossgelände durfte. Dadurch hatten wir praktisch keine Möglichkeit, das Schloss vernünftig zu sehen. Auch von außen bekommt man leider kaum einen guten Blick auf das Schloss. Während unseres Besuchs fanden außerdem Renovierungs- bzw. Bauarbeiten statt und Teile des Schlosses waren mit Gerüsten bzw. Baustellenelementen versehen. Dadurch war selbst ein schönes Erinnerungsfoto schwierig. Wir sind extra hierhergekommen und hätten uns zumindest einen zugänglichen Außenbereich oder einen guten Aussichtspunkt gewünscht. Für Besucher mit Hund würde ich den Besuch aktuell daher nur eingeschränkt empfehlen.
