If you can go there early or late to avoid the queues. If arriving around midday pay the bit extra for the Fast Lane and avoid the 1 hour+ wait on a steep slope with occasional heavy rain. Once in the castle it is interesting, with most of the castle accessable, good information but lots of stairs. I paid for the torture room which was disturbingly interesting and the time tunnel (not the best value but one avoids the walk down the long, at times wet, steep slope). While waiting to enter the castle we saw several people with only moderate mobility issues having difficulty decending to ground level. Once on ground level explore the gardens, some good views and reflections in the two ponds.
