Even greater is the disappointment when you enter the castle and find that the furniture and atmosphere that you would expect to find in such a historical place are no longer there. For the amounts paid, I expected a much richer and better valued experience. In addition, there is a problem that seems important to me: many foreign tourists come attracted by the image of "Dracula", but Bran Castle is not Dracula's Castle and there is no real historical connection between Vlad Tepes and this castle. The connection is mainly one created and exploited for tourism by associating it with the legend of Dracula. And then I ask myself: why does a tourist have to pay so much for an experience that, in my opinion, does not justify the price? Why don't we offer people who come from all over the world an authentic historical experience, commensurate with the fame of the place? It's not that we don't want to pay for tourism or for heritage. Quite the opposite. But the price must be justified by what you get in return. I find it a shame that such a well-known Romanian destination leaves such a bitter taste in visitors' mouths. Pe site sunt afișate prețuri de 90 lei/adult, 60 lei/senior și 30 lei/copil, însă la intrare am constatat că prețurile erau de fapt 120 lei/adult, 90 lei/senior și 60 lei/copil. O diferență considerabilă, pe care nu o înțeleg și pe care o consider foarte greu de justificat. Și mai mare este dezamăgirea atunci când intri în castel și constați că nu mai există mobilierul și atmosfera pe care te-ai aștepta să le găsești într-un astfel de loc istoric. Pentru sumele plătite, mă așteptam la o experiență mult mai bogată și mai bine pusă în valoare. În plus, există o problemă care mi se pare importantă: foarte mulți turiști străini vin atrași de imaginea lui „Dracula”, însă Castelul Bran nu este Castelul lui Dracula și nu există o legătură istorică reală între Vlad Țepeș și acest castel. Legătura este în principal una creată și exploatată turistic prin asocierea cu legenda lui Dracula. Și atunci mă întreb: de ce trebuie să plătească atât de mult un turist pentru o experiență care, în opinia mea, nu justifică prețul? De ce nu oferim oamenilor care vin din toate colțurile lumii o experiență istorică autentică, pe măsura renumelui locului? Nu este vorba că nu vrem să plătim pentru turism sau pentru patrimoniu. Dimpotrivă. Dar prețul trebuie să fie justificat de ceea ce primești în schimb. Mi se pare păcat ca un obiectiv atât de cunoscut al României să lase vizitatorilor un asemenea gust amar. Nous avons choisi le billet classique, l'aperçu du sorte de musée de la torture ne nous a donné de regrets.
