Everywhere they ask for exact money, they won't give it back and they get angry. We quickly entered the castle entrance and after we left we came across a huge queue. Tickets can be bought on site or via the website - standard for 2 adults and 1 child 80 leva. There is a fairly large market with various goods and food, which is located in front of the castle. Very pretty, very busy & touristy. Nice to say I’ve done it but was a quick in and out because the crowds were a little too much. It’s also about £15 a ticket which is quite a lot but stunning views and nice to go around.

An excellent museum/castle to visit but overrated and over-priced. Go off-season or risk growing as old as Draculea in the queue... Take a FULL tour and take your time. This place has A LOT to show. From history to scenery, you can find the beauty it exuberates. The walk up the steps helps with the calories... i think they were designed by Dracula himself so that when u get up to the entrance, you won't have energy to escape... luckily i had some garlicky ribs before the visit :)
