I was really disappointed with Bran Castle. The 90 lei entry fee is far too expensive for what you actually get. I expected an experience that would blend history and legend in an engaging way, but instead I found a confusing mix of reality and “horror attraction.” The decorations inside look like they were ordered from AliExpress: cheap plastic skeletons, fake bones, and props that have nothing to do with the true history of the castle or Vlad the Impaler. It all feels very touristy, not authentic, and more kitsch than spooky. It’s a shame, because this place has huge potential. With a fairer ticket price and a more curated historical setup, it could be great. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it.
