I cannot understand those bad reviews. You know such places are tourist traps. What do you expect? We went there on a Monday when it only opened at 12noon. We were 2 adults and 4 kids; waited 10min to get in and had a blast in there. Absolutely worth it. Climb up the hill opposite to get a good photo 🤭

We reached Bran Castle from Bucharest by combining train and bus – the journey is a bit demanding, taking several hours, but the views along the way and the sheer fact of reaching this historic site are worth the effort. Bran Castle is well-equipped to welcome tourists. There's an information point, restrooms, and a small souvenir shop. It's worth noting that there are specific visiting hours, and the route is partially one-way, allowing for efficient tourist management. In the off-season, we managed to enter an hour earlier than the standard time (12:00 instead of 1:00 PM), which was a great convenience – during the season, entry can be more difficult due to the larger influx of visitors. Inside, many attractions await: preserved castle chambers, historical exhibitions, furniture and armor, and fascinating stories about the Dracula legend, which attract tourists from all over the world. It's important to remember that some rooms are small, and the castle is very busy, so it can get crowded during peak season. It's also worth wearing comfortable shoes – the tour involves climbing narrow stairs and uneven floors. It's worth dedicating at least an hour to a visit. If you're planning a trip with children or people with limited mobility, it's worth checking the accessibility of the routes and any facilities beforehand – the castle is partially accessible, but not all floors are easily accessible. For photography enthusiasts, the place is a true paradise – both the interiors and the views from the castle walls of the surrounding mountains and the town of Bran are truly impressive.
