There are parking spaces right across the street, with a fee. In the summer it is much too crowded and hard to find. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance from the machines with the card, but also from the cash counter. In addition to the standard tour, 2 more optional entrances can be purchased separately. One is in the torture chambers, and the other in the time tunnel, where images of rulers who move and descend under the castle with an elevator are projected on screens where various images are projected. The inner courtyard is beautifully landscaped and maintained. It is easy to climb up to the entrance to the castle. Inside there are small customs houses and narrow stairs. Many of the areas are closed to the public. Inside you will find many objects that the castle rooms were equipped with a long time ago, many replicas, but the place is full of history. Furniture, dishes, daggers or even clothes. You can even get somewhere on the roof or on the balconies that overlook the inner courtyard. The tower is interesting and worth at least once. The castle is not like others, because it is more cramped inside. There is also a souvenir shop at the exit and a restaurant in the courtyard, which is promoted too excessively. I found leaflets with the restaurant somewhere at the entrance. Here I would say that it is a minus. The place is loaded with history and they put leaflets with food. Why not put leaflets with historical information or a map of the castle? :) You can take pictures or film inside. (Original) Catelul Bran este una dintre cele mai vizitate atractii din Romania. Gazduieste multa istorie si celebre povesti despre Vlad Tepes ( Dracula ) si altele. Este in localitatea Bran. Sunt locuri de parcare chiar vis-a vis, cu plata. Vara este mult prea aglomerat si se gasesc greu. Bilete se pot lua de la intrare de la automate cu, cardul, dar si de la ghiseu cash. Pe langa turul standard, se pot achizitiona separat inca 2 intrari optionale. Una este in camerele de tortura, iar cealalta in tunelul timpului, unde sunt proiectate imaginile unor domnitori care se misca si se coboara sub castel cu un lift unde sunt proiectate pe ecrane diverse imagini. Curtea interioara este frumos amenajata si intretinuta. Se urca usor pana la intrarea in castel. Inauntru sumt vamere mici si scari inguste. Multe din zone sunt inchise publicului. Inauntru vei gasii multe obiecte cu care erau dotate camerele castelului cu mult timp in urma, multe replici, dar locul este incarcat de istorie. Obiecte de mobilier, vesela, pumnale sau chiar haine. Se ajunge chiar si undeva pe acoperis sau in balcoanele care dau spre curtea interioara. Turl este interesant si merita macar 1 data. Castelul nu seamana cu altele, pentru ca este mai inghesuit in interior. Exista la iesire si un magazin cu suveniruri si un restauramt in curte, care este promovat prea excesiv. Am gasit undeva la intrare pliante cu restaurantul. Aici as spune ca este un minus. Locul este incarcat de istorie si ei pun pliante cu mancare. De ce nu pus pliante cu informatii istorice sau o harta a castelului? :) Se pot face poze sau se poate filma in interior.

This castle was the reason we travelled all the way to Transylvania and it definitely did not disappoint. It was bigger than we expected and offered nice views of the mountains. Also the torture room brought chills to my bones.
