This was a really interesting place and it is curated well. The castle is a beautiful place and the views from there are breathtaking. The only small downside to this, is that sometimes the rooms felt a bit crowded and loud. We visited in November, so I believe that in the summer this might cause more irritation than now in the winter time.

The castle is a lot larger inside than it initially looks. I would definitely recommend a ticket for the torture chambers. Be careful to purchase a ticket from the official website. I ended up paying far too much. Also, we went to visit Dracula but sadly he was not there.

A little bit overhyped as a building in my opinion because of the Dracula's myth. I visit it on Sunday (November) and it was really crowded. Some areas were truly hard to pass through and watch the rooms, or the view or take pictures and feel the gothic atmosphere. And of course there were queues and groups. BUT It definitely worths a visit tho, if you combine it with Peles and Brasov trip. I really liked the video walls with the phantom soul, the vampire and the grave, the werewolf, the magician with the dragon and the room with the piano (and music atmosphere). But most of all...The view...the myst...the surroundings...you feel the myth Inside you.❤️
