A little gimmicky and outdated for such a popular tourist destination but beautiful nonetheless ! Some very strange useless photo opportunity rooms that could’ve been used for information

such a lovely location the palace and surroundings, the staff is really hands on, friendly and doing their best to help both castle and their restaurant; what I disliked were the long lines, mind you on a Monday - it was a public holiday in most Europe so I guess that's why - however I bought a priority ticket to avoid huge lines and it still took me about 45min to a hour to enter the castle, inside was crammed, lots of hallways that allow access to only one person at the time, so the whole visit was huge lines for every room, then the rooms themselves mostly are quite small and you can't see much cause it's packed inside - some guides were saying this is a constant issue which is sad because it's taking away from the beauty of the place and probably such huge crowds at once don't do good to preserving the castle either

An absolutely dreadful experience. You wait in line for two hours just to get into the castle, only to spend the entire visit standing in more lines. The castle itself looks as if it has just been looted. I think there are many places in Romania that are truly worth visiting, but this castle definitely isn’t one of them. Give it a wide berth — it’s nothing but a tourist trap.

Waiting times are not really shown before. The regular queue for the entrance takes more than an hour and the visit inside countinues to be a never ending queue.
