We parked just off the street about a 10 mins walk away. We arrived at the castle a little ahead of our pre-booked time slot. We were shown straight in. Once inside we enjoyed the exhibitions and looking round but it only took us around 30 mins to do it all. The grounds are pretty and you get great views. A lot of Dracula hype surrounding the castle but I'm not sure it lives up to it. A pleasant visit.

Not just associated with Vlad the Impaler (Dracula). It was also a royal home. Beautiful surroundings. A steep walk uphill to enter and narrow stairs inside.

The castle itself is nice. Its worth a visit if you are in the area and if you can be sure it won't be too crowded. However I think inside the castle it was quite bland. You didn't get to see that many artifacts and it didn't feel like you got to know the castle and its history very well. They weren't that many signs too read as well.

You do not necessarily need to go inside Bran Castle to enjoy it. The exterior alone is already beautiful and dramatic, especially with the mountains and trees around it. Walking around the village and seeing the castle from outside felt peaceful and magical to me.
