It is the third time I've been here. Last two times were 4 and 10 years ago. It is still a lovely place. The park around the castle is lovely as well! But I will tell you what felt worth spending money on! I am giving 3 stars is because the "fast lane" was literally the same as the normal one, both were empty. It's a waste of money, cause once inside the castle, you are all still in huge queues for every staircase inside. Also, guided tours happen at the same time as unguided tours. You'll be standing behind a group or two, while their guide takes 10-15 minutes to explain indetail everything (good guide tho!). Queues become even longer and more tedious. Nte: even if the queue is formed because of a guided tour of which you are not a part of, you cannot go around the group. You need to wait for them to move on. Torture chamber is somehow emptier than my previous visits and less interesting. They have removed the more interesting devices, its just mostly stuff common from evrywhere else in Europe (iron boot, spike collar, these contraptions where u sit on a pyramid and you are pulled down, an exectuoner axe, pillory, an impalement spike). So, nothing all that worthy of spending money on. It is a nice break from the crowds tho. The time tunnel - u get in an elevator and see animations you see of samodivas around the non extra tour. Then u get in a secret apdsage, which was under the well a few hundred years ago. Animations are AI and there is literally nothing more (in terms of information or displays) or different than the ordinary tour. There is a screen which displays all the movies regarding Dracula. So yeah, also kinda a waste of money. In my opinion, buy yourself the ordinary tour with regular access. The castle and the yard around it are both lovely. Maybe the torture chber. But all else, save your money. Go either late or early, the corridors are narrow and with crowds- barely room to even breathe! Buy online tickets tho (no fast lane) so you can get in directly.
